They've seen the effects of unfettered unregulated capitalism and they don't like it.

They saw what it did to their communities and families firsthand.

Hard to sell deregulation as decreasing prices and increasing competition when we have all seen just the opposite over the last forty years.

Hard to sell the wonders of the free market to generations of people who don't think they will ever have a newer vehicle or home.

They're not ignorant.
