I really don't think it was me speaking when I said this the other day.

I'm not even going to go into why, but I have my reasons.

Other times when this has happened it took a day or so for it to register.

This time?

It only took a few hours.

I've also been told that I can expect it to happen more frequently 

and that I would recognize it as happening even sooner than I did this particular time.

It's like taking baby steps along the way 

to get used to it or something.
