what cracks me up?
Ammosexuals who think people shouldn't exercise their first amendment rights :-).
Think about it :-).
If people were criticizing them for exercising their second amendment rights?
The way a lot of them do for people exercising their first amendment ones?
They would have their panties all wadded up about it in an instant.
Sorry, your amendment was the second one for a reason.
And don't give me that "If it weren't for the second one you wouldn't have any of the others" nonsense either.
The forth one is gone already.
All the guns and ammo in the world couldn't have saved it.
(That is another post at a later time)
Yes I own guns, two to be exact.
And I want two more some day.
(The two I currently own are antiques, usable ones, but still :-)
Yes I'm in favor of a national open carry law to make things consistent from state to state and
yes, I am a free speech advocate.
The purpose of free speech is to upset you.
If it upsets enough people to the point where large numbers cause the authorities to shut down your speech for safety concerns?
Well?
They were exercising their right to freedom of assembly.
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how one persons freedom of speech is more important than large numbers of individuals freedom of assembly.
The answer is simple.
It's not.
Don't be gettin all riled up about some right-wing corporate fascist apologist supposedly having his first amendment rights trampled on, then turn around an express disbelief that others are exercising the same freedom of speech rights you supposedly are championing?
Yeah, that makes sense.
Makes about as much sense as being a right-wing corporate fascist apologist does in the first place if you ask me.
Not a big fan of CNN these days but this lady is an expert on first amendment issues and makes many valid points people should consider.
Peace.
It's all I really want for everybody.
Love you Lucy.
