Redeemed

The Redeemed

Psalm 107:2

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

Psalm 106:10

And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them,
and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

Isaiah 35:7-10

The burning sand will become a pool,
the thirsty ground bubbling springs.
In the haunts where jackals once lay,
grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.

And a highway will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it.
No lion will be there,
nor any ravenous beast;
they will not be found there.
But only the redeemed will walk there,
and those the Lord has rescued will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Isaiah 62:12

They will be called the Holy People,
the Redeemed of the Lord;
and you will be called Sought After,
the City No Longer Deserted.

Psalm 31:5

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

Luke 1:68

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
because he has come to his people and redeemed them.

Revelation 14:3

And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders.
No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

Here we go again.
I can hear them already.
"But it says only the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth could learn the song so there could only be 144,000 redeemed then."
Are you serious?
I mean you're really not...are you?
I hope not.

Where exactly does it say that there are only 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth?
It just says the 144,000 of the redeemed from the earth were the only ones who could learn the song.
Nowhere.
Nowhere does the book ever say:
"There are only 144,000 who have been redeemed from the earth."
These are the ones that can hear the song.
There are obviously others besides them then.

This black or white always one way or the other shit just gets on my ever last nerve Lucy.
It's faulty thinking.

Sometimes?
What's really being said is being communicated by it not being said.
One must infer things.
Heaven forbid if we actually have to reason and use our intellect these days.
Sorry I can't just condense it down to an Internet meme for people to look at for 3 seconds and think they get it.
The good lord gave us a brain for a reason.
It's more than a hat-rack.
Use the damn noggin he gave ya.
Duh.

Plenty more about redemption to be found.

All who believe have been redeemed.
Their freedom from sin and the law was purchased with a price.
All who believe.

Only those who commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

(Matthew 12:22–32)

"There is no pardon, either in this age or in the age to come, for a person who rejects the Spirit’s promptings to trust in Jesus Christ and then dies in unbelief."

"The unpardonable sin today is the state of continued unbelief."
