What struck me

WARNING:

 Started off going one direction

and ended up going

n about three others lol.

You'll see.

I hope :-).

But what struck me most

about the last Missler piece

(Genesis Session 5, Day 4)

Was this:

"...there's a theory

there's 34:36

a hypothesis

about a near pass by of Mars..."

(Not gonna rehash the entire segment)

I wish he would have given us the Seven catastrophes

that it may have had an impact on

but there is no doubt

that ancient civilizations

worshiped Mars

and that they feared it.

That alone

should give this particular hypothesis

some credence.

(Hey, that is already more than the Multiverse

has going for it just with those two things.

(Ancients fear and worship)

But he closes that part

of the segment with:

"...when you get finally to

the seventh time this

that we 36:56 know of

that this happened

the last time

it happens

(Going off of the computer models, we don't know that it did, but, like I said at the onset, theres no proof of a multiverse either and people just lap that up like gravy with a biscuit ect.)

they stabilize...

to the the orbits

that they have today now 37:17"

The current start to the end of our time

really shouldn't be viewed as such,

but rather,

should be viewed

in the proper context

of what it really is:

A New Beginning.

Christ's Millennial Reign is coming.

Revelation 20:1-6

Now let us Consider:

Joshua 6:3

3March around the city

with all the men of war,

circling the city one time.

Do this for six days

Mirrors:

The first six Seal Judgements

in the book of Revelation:

Revelation 6

6 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Lets continue:

Joshua 6:4

Have seven priests

carry seven rams’ horns

in front of the ark.

Then on the seventh day,

march around the city

seven times,

while the priests blow the horns.

Mirrors the opening of the Seventh Seal

Which brings in the

seven trumpet judgements

("march around the city seven times,

while the priests blow the horns.)

Revelation 8:2,6–9:19

and 11:15–19

2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

Revelation 8:6-9:19

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

9 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

Revelation 11:15-19

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Joshua 6:5

5And when there is a long blast of the ram’s horn and you hear its sound, have all the people give a mighty shout. Then the wall of the city will collapse and all your people will charge straight into the city.”…

Revelation 10:7

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel,

when he shall begin to sound,

the mystery of God should be finished,

as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

(What exactly do you think is going on here?

Tell me when you get finished reading it

And?

I have made that point before.

The seventh one is longer and drawn out

more so than the others that had preceded it.

WHY?

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

(Thats why.)

Joshua 6:8

8 After Joshua had spoken to the people,

seven priests carrying seven rams’ horns

before the LORD

advanced and blew the horns

and

the ark of the covenant of

the LORD followed them.

Kinda getting the flavor of things here?

Missler does 90 minutes on it here.

Joshua 6, Fall of Jericho - Pastor Chuck Missler

Im not going to go through all 90 minutes of it but I think its pretty easy to see the parallels.

I got one more (I thought at the time anyway lol)

and then my conclusion(s)

and what jumped out at me working through putting all of that together.

What is the very first thing Joshua does

getting ready for this battle (Jericho)?

("Jesus' name in Hebrew was “Yeshua”

which translates to English as Joshua."

BTW)

Joshua 2:1

2 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

Mirrors:

Revelation 11:3

3 And I will give power

unto my two witnesses,

and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days,

clothed in sackcloth.

Straight out of the interpreters bible.

Joshuas two spies show up as a sign of the impending battle,

The two witnesses show up

marking the beginning of the end times.

Joshua 6:17

Now the city and everything in it must be devoted to the LORD for destruction. Only Rahab the prostitute and all those with her in her house will live, because she hid the spies we sent.

Chuck Missler Genesis Session 5

(Relating to Joshua's long day)

44:41

"all they did

(the two spies he sent)

is get Rahab saved

a gentile

(non-Jewish)

bride

ultimately"

There is your rebellious,

Idolatrous

(Fornicating in a technical sense,

cheating on God, with others.)

Church.

(The Church is always portraited as a woman

And Christ is the Bridegroom

See Revelation 19:6-9

The wedding supper of the lamb

Two witnesses wedding foreshadows it yo)

Christ true church

will believe

the two witness are who they are.

Just like Rahab believed

in the Lord of the two spies.

Joshua 6:17, above

mirrors

Revelation 3:10

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Joshua 2:8-9

And before they were laid down,

she came up unto them upon the roof;

And she said unto the men,

I know that the Lord hath given you the land,

and that

your terror is fallen upon us,

and that all the inhabitants of the land

faint because of you.

(She might as well be talking about the two witnesses

tormenting the inhabitants of the earth for goodness sakes.

And she didn't say:

I think, I hope, I pray, Maybe, If etc.

She said:

"I KNOW"

During the second half

(3.5 years)

of the tribulation,

"the great tribulation"

the members of Gods true Church

 are protected from Gods wrath.

Just like Rahab was then,)

"Only Rahab the prostitute

(The Church)

and all those with her

in her house will live"

Matthew 24:22

And if those days had not been cut short,

no human being would be saved.

But for the sake of the elect

those days will be cut short.

(The elect aint everybody John Calvin.)

Just on and on and on...

Just watch the video lol

Joshua 6, Fall of Jericho - Pastor Chuck Missler

Now Im finally getting to my point lol.

Everybody is like thank Goodness lol.

There is just to much here between:

The Mars near miss hypothesis.

(7 times so far perhaps)

The battle of Jericho.

And how that matches up

with End Time events

(Book of Revelation).

Too many coincidences

just isn't a coincidence.

And besides?

Why did the ancients fear Mars so much?

Why did they Worship it?

(I didnt get into it here

but its covered in the video)

How did Johnathan Swift

know so much about

the Moons  of Mars

so many years in advance?

People today

will buy into:

Multiverse Hypothesis.

Grand Tack Hypothesis.

Lunar near miss hypothesis.

Nebula Hypothesis etc...

But not a Mars near miss Hypothesis?

Why?

It has much more evidence

(Even if its circumstantial)

to support it than ANY

of those do.

Anyway.

Thats what I got

out of:

 the last Missler piece

(Genesis Session 5, Day 4)

more than anything.

Theres gonna be a bunch of preachers and others

out there scratching their heads about Jericho babe :-).

Its one of the oldest citys on the Earth BTW.

Jericho is among the oldest cities in the world,[7][8][9] and it is also the city with the oldest known defensive wall.[10] Archaeologists have unearthed the remains of more than 20 successive settlements in Jericho, the first of which dates back 11,000 years (to 9000 BCE),[11][12] almost to the very beginning of the Holocene epoch of the Earth's history.[13][14]

Oh yeah, its in the "West Bank" interesting...

"More Yet"

 lol.

Rahab had to camp outside the Israelites camp.

Joshua 6:23

So the young men that were spies, went in and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had: also they brought out all her family, and put them [a]without the host of Israel.

(1599 Geneva Bible Commentary on

Joshua 6:23

For it was not lawful

for strangers

to dwell among the Israelites,

till they were purged.)

The spies

(two witnesses)

saved Rahab

(Gods true church).

Resurrected church anybody?

(Written March 21, 2018 BTW)

But she is confined

OUTSIDE

the host of Israel:

Compare:

The Two Witnesses

11 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the GentilesThey will trample on the holy city for 42 months.

(Because of

"They will trample on the holy city for 42 months." in that verse?

Lots of commentators view the temple and the alter as being earthly.

I disagree.

Go figure right?

John is still in his vision of

the Seven Seals.

Rev 6:1-8:6

The seven Trumpet judgements

come at the opening of the seventh Seal.

Rev 8:7-11:19

The two witnesses appear

in between the sixth trumpet

Rev 9:13-21

And the seventh,

Revelation

11:15-19.

Revisit:

Point is?

John is still in a vision

(An awake dream)

Gotta be careful interpreting visions

as literal earthly things.

That is why

11 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.

Is heavenly.

While:

They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.

Is earthy.

So if the gentiles

(Non-Jews)

get the outer court of the temple?

Then who gets the inner portion?

Who gets to be

the closest to God?

Lets revisit the verse in Joshua:

Joshua 6:23

So the young men that were spies, went in and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had: also they brought out all her family,

and put them [a]without the host of Israel.

Outside of who?

Israel.

Who were what

in Joshua's time?

They were Jews.

I can hear them already Honey:

"Drew buddy,

you have lost your mind.

Jews get the inner sanctum

in Gods temple?

They dont even believe in Christ.

Well okay,

maybe the converted Jews do

but Drew really?"

Simple answer.

Yes.

Really.

There is one group of Jews

(Genetic descendants of Abraham

is what I am talking about here)

that converted to Christianity

that everybody forgets about:

Ethiopian Jews

They are direct descendants of Abraham
through the illegitimate union of
Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.

1 Kings 10:13

13 King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba
all she desired and asked for,
besides
what he had given her
out of his royal bounty
Then she left and returned with her servants
 to her own country.

It is the nature of God
to work and do things
in such a way
that we simply do not expect.

In this context?

It makes perfect sense
that those who get the inner sanctum
of Gods temple
would be
the Black African descendants
of an legitimate union.

Besides?

The first
Jewish Convert
to Christianity?

Outside of Judea?

(That's where your Roman Centurion was BTW)

Was the Ethiopian Eunuch.

I bet God wishes
that they
(Descendants of Abraham)
all did
(Convert).

See:

But since they didn't convert?
He will take
the illegitimate offspring
and place them closest
instead.

Reference:

Matthew 20:16

So the last shall be first,
and the first last:
for many be called,
but few chosen.

As well as:

Widow at Zarapath

(wasnt a Jew)

Naaman the Syrian

(Wasnt a Jew)

Those two stories?

That the Jews hated BTW,
because people were chosen outside of them.

So much for thinking your pedigree or whatever, allows for you to feel entitled or that any of this has anything to do with us or anything we do or ever did.

In god there is no partiality etc.

But those two stories
were the only ones
referenced by Christ
in his hometown synagogue
when he announced his ministry.

They ran him out of town!

I dare say he was making a point.

Matthew 3:9
John the Baptist speaking:

And think not to say
within yourselves
We have Abraham to our father:
for I say unto you,
that God is able
of these stones
to raise up children unto Abraham.

Pedigree gets you exactly squat jack.

And?
In that context?

Me and Honey
as the two witnesses
make perfect sense.

It fits right in.

Besides?

I dont think its that much of a stretch
to suggest
that the reason
there were Ethiopian Eunuchs,
particularly if they were in a queens court?

Was to protect the bloodline.
So that they still could be considered Jews.
Offspring of Abraham.

Anyway?

Lot to consider about the Battle of Jericho

and another possible
near miss of the planet Mars

(If you can wrap your head around Genesis 1:1?
Then you should know
God can do anything.)

and how all of that relates to End time events.

And thats what I got of out of:

the last Missler piece

(Genesis Session 5, Day 4)

Side Notes:

The bible on the left had
0
verses in the book of Joshua
cross references to the book of Revelation

The Bible on the right
which is my "go to"
had only 1 verse in Joshua cross-referenced
to the book of revelation.

That being:

Joshua 10:11

11 And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

with

Revelation 16:21
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

I like going to Bible Hub.com
to check cross references as well when I have questions
And all I could find there was:

Joshua 2:9
9and said to them, “I know that the LORD has given you this land and that the fear of you has fallen on us, so that all who dwell in the land are melting in fear of you

Referencing:

Revelation 3:8
I know your deeds. Behold, I have placed before you an open door, which no one can shut. I know that you have only a little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name.

Joshua 5:15
15The Commander of the LORD’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

(That's not a messenger or an Angel.
Ref:
Revelation 22:8-9

8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not:

(GET UP! in other words)

for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Referencing:

Revelation 1:17
When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last,

Joshua 6:4
4Have seven priests carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark. Then on the seventh day, march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the horns.

Referencing

Revelation 8:2
And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets.

Joshua 6:8

8 After Joshua had spoken to the people, seven priests carrying seven rams’ horns before the LORD advanced and blew the horns, and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.

References:

Revelation 11:15
Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”

OKAY?

So lots got missed
as far as cross references
are concerned:

Parallels with the two witnesses.
True Church protected in the great tribulation
Extended trumpet blast.
Inner and outer courts
and tons of others.

You wanna a bunch more parallels
then watch the Missler video :-).

But heres a question to all the nonbelievers out there:

If you were just "back dating" things
in order to get them to match up?

Wouldnt you want everybody to know
ALL
of the backdated cross-references
you made match up?

Why would you intentionally
leave some out as witnessed above?

John wrote the book of Revelation
 on the island of Patmos.
He was exiled there.

I think its a pretty good guess to say
the living conditions were not the greatest.

He didnt have access to all of this.
(Joshua and the other books of the bible)

So how did he get it to all match up?

"Well Jewish boys at that time
had to memorize the Torah so he would have known."

Joshua is the sixth book of the bible
(which is interesting enough)
so its not in the Torah.

NEXT!

I've heard this before too:

"Well he was with Christ
so he knew the events
he was witnessing
and cross referenced those
with the New Testament verses
that he cross referenced in Revelation."

Yeah well
Kinda hard to reference things
that havent been written yet
Dont ya think?

Revelation was written in 95 AD or so.

The New Testament as we know it
wasn't even a thing yet,
but the book of Revelation references
tons of verses from the New Testament,
so how is that even possible?

To see all of the interwovenness
and interconnectedness of the Bible
and to maintain
that it is all somehow
just a human endeavor?

40 authors,
1600 years,
Three languages,
Three continents
etc?

IS COMPLETELY
100%
IRRATIONAL
THINKING.

It is what it says it is.
The living breathing
word of God
and it is from outside of
this time space continuum.

IT WILL PROVE ITSELF TO YOU
IF YOU WOULD BUT LET IT.

I pray you do.
I really do.

Cause the time is getting shorter everyday.

Peace.
(Start w proverbs BTW :-)
