Heard this recently:

"Why shouldn't we smoke?

Christ didn't smoke,

so we shouldn't either.

Why shouldn't we drink?

Christ didn't drink

so we shouldn't either.

Why shouldn't we cuss?

Christ didn't cuss,

so we shouldn't either.

And that is all very true.

(Drink to the point of drunkenness anyway,

obviously from scripture he did drink wine.)

I just wanna point out

a few other things

Christ didn't do:

He didn't keep

a statue

of his mom in his yard.

He didn't pray the rosary.

He didn't

pray to

his mother.

He didn't

pray to

ANY

dead person.

He didn't bow

to ANY image

of ANY man,

Dead or Alive,

EVER.

He never kissed

ANY image,

of ANY man,

ever.

SO WE SHOULDNT EITHER!

Somebody

"An advocate for a more

"Revisionist"

(as in,

"We need to reexamine some things

 we have been thinking of

as settled long ago),

and

 "Apostolistic

(Teach the word and preach the gospel,

and live it such that others

can see it in you.)

church.

I meant it when I wrote it in 2022.

And I mean it stronger today

than I ever did then.

Just because you have been doing something

for 1600 or however many years you have been doing it?

DOES NOT MEAN THEY GOT IT RIGHT

BACK THEN!

And I'll back that up with scripture:

Revelation 12:4

And his tail drew the third part

of the stars of heaven,

and did cast them to the earth:

and the dragon

stood before the woman

(Wisdom)

which was ready to be delivered,

for to devour her child

(Christ Church)

as soon as it was born.

Everything post

Apostles Creed

should be subjected

to reexamination.

Some of these Bishops

at some of these

early ecumenical councils

were the heretics

who wanted

their form of Idolatry

legitimized

(among other things)

And wanted the others

who opposed them Ostracized.

"to devour her child

(Christ Church)

as soon as it was born."

Gives it away

that things these days

desperately need

reevaluation.

The Apostles Creed:

I believe in God,

the Father almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ,

his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived

by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified,

dead and buried;

the third day

he rose from the dead;

he ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand

of God the Father almighty;

from thence

he shall come to judge

the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy Universal Church,

the communion of saints,

(Believers, here or in Heaven)

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and life everlasting.

Amen.

is all the Theology you need.

Period.

Perform it at Baptism.

And every Sunday

to help us remind ourselves

of all the miracles

 we believe in.

(And all the Southern Baptist

and American Evangelicals go:

YEA!

He not pickin on us for once lol.)
