me and Honey were going through
Revelation 12
in The Geneva Bible
and reviewing it's footnotes.
We went through it again and highlighted what
I thought to be the highlights.
Honey helped :-).
I would read the high lighted note
and then she would read the corresponding verse.
So we are in Revelation 12.
And we gonna work backwards
and do the highlights
of the footnotes first,
then at the end,
match em up with the verses
they correspond to.
So lil different.
The Geneva Bible I have
was published in 1560.
It is insane
how much these notes
match up
with our world right now.
So here we go:
"Hitherto hath been the general prophecy comprehended in 2 parts, as I showed upon Rev. 11.
(So the two witnesses dont just stop in Revelation 11.
That prophecy or parts of it at least are continued on in some of the subsequent chapters.)
"Now shall be declared the first part of this prophecy, in this and the next chapter and the latter part in chapters 14, 15 and 16. Unto the first part, which is of the conflicting or militant Church belong 2 things.
(As in stomping out strongholds and principalities.)
"The beginning of the Christian Church, we define to be from the first moment of her the conception of Christ,"
"This Church (as is the state of the holy Church Catholic) did in itself shine about with glory given of God, trod under feet mutability and changeableness"
(Were gonna go back to a proper understanding of Genesis 6 as it relates 100% with the events we see in our day
and the:
"mutability and changeableness"
of the church is going away.
This one that is coming
will not have time for:
"mutability and changeableness"
as Christ will be back
before it has a chance to.
The longer things go on?
the more
polluted, corrupted, watered-down
further from truth they become.

partly to that which is visible
wherein the wheat is mingled with the chaff,
and the good fish with that which is evil:"

Trust me "The Chaff"
aint gonna wanna stick around.
They are gonna feel that uncomfortable
around the truth.
This aint the Lions club.
This aint a social hour etc.
This is worshipping
the power that created the Universe
and the life force.)

It's the analogy Paul was drawing on in Ephesians.
And I never ever heard a sermon on:
Husbands,
love your wives,
even as Christ
also loved the church,
and gave himself for it
Ive heard all kinds of sermons
on wives submitting themselves
to the husband
(Ya gotta let him run the relationship.
Or you wont like what you end up with.
God knows what works best.
Showing God that you trust your husband
to be the head of the family/relationship?
Shows God that you trust him
for putting him in that place to start with.)
But I dont think
I have ever heard a sermon
on the husband being willing
to lay down his life for her,
so as to be deserving
of that type of submission.
I wonder why?

"The Church of Christ which was of the Jews, after his assumption into heaven, hid itself in the world as in a wilderness, trusting in the only defense of God."
(Its mirrors the great tribulation period
when Gods wrath is poured out.
It's gonna be your only hope.)
"For he hath respect unto those two Prophets, of whom Rev. 11:3, as for the meaning of the 1260 days, look the same place."
(And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.)
"Christ is the Prince of Angels, and head of the Church, who beareth that iron rod, the fifth verse. See the notes upon Daniel, Dan. 12:1. In this verse a description of the battle and of the victory in the two verses following. The Psalmist had respect unto this battle, Ps. 68:9, and Paul, Eph. 4:1 and Col. 2:15."

as it relates to our world today.
It knows that true science
matches up with Genesis
and can explain it to people how.
Thats it,
Thats what we are going to build.
And you will not stop it.
Satan even knows he cant,
and it just kills him inside.

And I had this all messed up so if I flubbed some up I apologize.

Revelation 12:18

This Verse is included in Revelation 13:1
in The King James
