"Arrogance"

 

IS

false confidence.

It is a confidence 

you dont have.

any reason to have.

And there aint a shred of that 

anywhere near here.

"a realistic conviction 

that one can meet life's challenges, 

and the willingness to act accordingly"

You go spend 

three years in a garage.

It is only because of faith in Christ

 being who he said he was.

Thats it.

Thats where all

MY/OUR

confidence

comes from.

Seen him pull me through things

that I coudnt have survived on my own

way to many times not to have it.

My dad taught me at a very young age:

"It aint bragging

if you can back it up."

Well I know

who has my back

and he has proved it

time and time again

and people have been 

witnesses to it.

So I will never apologize 

for being confident.

(thats not arrogance,

see above)

NEVER.

I will never 

"shrink back"

and be less

than what I know I am

and what I can be

so that others 

can feel comfortable.

Comfort is the enemy of growth

and people not wanting to grow

are not my problem, 

they are their own problem.

Its not my fault others aren't

confident

and dont even know 

the meanings of the words.

If that offends you?

I suggest you figure out why that is.

Cause it aint got anything

to do with me or us.
