"The church"
is the beautiful bride of Christ:
Revelation 19:7-8
7 Let us be glad and rejoice,
and give honour to him:
for the marriage of the Lamb is come,
and his wife hath
made herself ready.
(If we cant explain where Goliath came from?
Or why certain fallen angels are sitting in prison
while others roam free with Satan?
Then how in the world
are we making ourselves ready?
We are far from it.
"We got a long way to go
and a short time to get there"
the song says.)
8 And to her was granted that she should be
arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:
for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
WE ARE MARRIED TO CHRIST!
TO WED OURSELVES TO
WORDLY POWER STRUCTURES?
IS CHEATING ON GOD!
This type of fornication is spoken of all throughout the book of revelation,
and it is exactly
what Satan wants.
How in the world(excuse the unintended pun)
is chasing worldly
power structures
having your eyes
set on things above?
Colossians 3:2
Set your mind on things above,
not on things on the earth.
Revelation 18:4

“Come out of her, My people,
so that you will not share
in her sins or contract any of her plagues.
Jeremiah 51:45

Save your lives, each of you,
from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Leave Babylon!
Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare it with a shout of joy, proclaim it, let it go out to the ends of the earth, saying, “The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob!”
Isaiah 52:11
Depart, depart, go out from there!
Touch no unclean thing; come out from it, purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of the LORD.
2 Corinthians 6:17

Zechariah 2:6-7
“Get up! Get up! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the LORD, “for I have scattered you like the four winds of heaven,” declares the LORD. / “Get up, O Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the Daughter of Babylon!”
Genesis 19:12-17
Then the two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—a son-in-law, your sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, / because we are about to destroy this place. For the outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that He has sent us to destroy it.” / So Lot went out and spoke to the sons-in-law who were pledged in marriage to his daughters. “Get up,” he said. “Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking. ...
Revelation 18:5-6
For her sins are piled up to heaven,
(Tower of Babel much?)
and God has remembered her iniquities. / Give back to her as she has done to others; pay her back double for what she has done; mix her a double portion in her own cup.
Micah 4:10
Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor. For now you will leave the city and camp in the open fields. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued; there the LORD will redeem you from the hand of your enemies!
Isaiah 13:1-22
This is the burden against Babylon that Isaiah son of Amoz received: / Raise a banner on a barren hilltop; call aloud to them. Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. / I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have even summoned My warriors to execute My wrath and exult in My triumph. ...
Revelation 18:10
In fear of her torment, they will stand at a distance and cry out: “Woe, woe to the great city, the mighty city of Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come.”
Isaiah 13:14
Like a hunted gazelle, like a sheep without a shepherd, each will return to his own people, each will flee to his native land.

Isaiah 14:22-23

Revelation 18:2
And he cried out in a mighty voice: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a lair for demons and a haunt for every unclean spirit, every unclean bird, and every detestable beast.
Isaiah 21:9
Look, here come the riders, horsemen in pairs.” And one answered, saying: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon! All the images of her gods lie shattered on the ground!”

My sins may be many,
but I have not
I do not
and I will not
MARRY
my faith
to a worldly power structure
(political or otherwise.)
and
ANYBODY
that thinks you should?
Can come explain
all the verses listed above
telling us not to.
Where did it get complicated?
What is the confusion about?
