"Features
3I/ATLAS's characteristics,
color, speed, and direction
are all consistent with what we expect from a comet."
(It's faster than anything we have ever seen.
It's changed color multiple times
without adequate explanation
(only conjectures)
and it's path through the inner solar system
and its alignment with the earths elliptical plane
are all very different
from anything we have seen previously.)
"3I/ATLAS has an icy nucleus
(That has yet to be verified
Thats one of the reasons
why the pictures from the HiRISE camera
aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Rover
are so important.)
and a coma, which is a bright cloud
of gas and dust that surrounds the comet
and is emitted at increasing rates
as the comet approaches the Sun.
(It was doing the same thing
at a distance of 6 AU
when it was far enough away
that it should not have been.)
"Is 3I/ATLAS an asteroid or a comet?
From telescope observations,
astronomers can tell that 3I/ATLAS is active,
which means it has an icy nucleus
(Just because its sublimates ice
doesn't mean it's nucleus is "icy."
Or that its a comet.
And water ice only accounts
for less than 4% of
3I/ATLAS composition.)
and a coma
(a bright cloud of gas and dust surrounding a comet as it approaches the Sun).
This is why astronomers categorize it as a comet and not an asteroid."
"How big is 3I/ATLAS?
Astronomers don’t yet know exactly how big 3I/ATLAS is, but from Hubble Space Telescope observations as of Aug. 20, 2025, they can see that the diameter of its nucleus is not less than 1,400 feet (440 meters) and not greater than 3.5 miles (5.6 kilometers).
("Astronomers don’t yet know exactly how big 3I/ATLAS is..."
That and what is its nucleolus is made out of
are two of the biggest unanswered questions
and:
"but from Hubble Space Telescope observations as of Aug. 20, 2025, they can see that the diameter of its nucleus is not less than 1,400 feet (440 meters) and not greater than 3.5 miles (5.6 kilometers)."
1) Why isnt there any more Data being shared
than that one particular image?
Particularly given the JWST is a new instrument?
And 2) That image
was not taken from a side profile
which the images from the Mars Perseverance Rover would have been
which would give more accurate measurements,
hence another reason why all the hubbub about the delay in their release.
And I have got to see image(s)
from the HiRISE camera
onboard the Perseverance Rover
on Oct 3rd 2025
or NASA's live event tomorrow
is all for nothing as far as I am concerned.
I honestly think my reaction is going to be
something along the lines of:
"Wait a minute,
We waited over six weeks for this?)
"As comets get closer to the Sun,
they heat up and release gas as their ices sublimate."
(Again This object was doing so
at a distance (6 AU, or there abouts)
when it shouldn't have been.)
Where can I track the comet's current position in the solar system?
NASA's "Eyes on the Solar System"
online simulation shows the current location
and path of 3I/ATLAS as it moves through our solar system.
(Bookmarked, thx.)
"Can the comet be seen from the ground?
"In October 2025, the comet passed behind the Sun
and is now again observable from Earth.
In fact, astrometric observations resumed on Oct. 31."
(We were originally told it would be December
before it would be observable again.)
"3I/ATLAS can be observed,
even with a small telescope, in the pre-dawn sky
and will remain observable until spring 2026.'
So much is not covered on this NASA page.
It changed it's brightness several times,
again without adequate explanation
its bigger than it should be
Nickel and no Iron.

Anti-tail
just on and on and on...
How can NASA

NASA’s High-Stakes Interstellar Showdown
Could Validate or Demolish Avi Loeb’s 3I/ATLAS Theories
11/17/25 USA Herald By Samuel A. Lopez
USA Herald
"An Independent News source with a
Rating of "Low" on "Bias and credibility"
from mediabiasfactcheck.com"
"The agency’s unprecedented live event Wednesday may settle one of the most contentious scientific debates in modern astrophysics."
"The images NASA releases on November 19 will either vindicate a controversial Harvard astrophysicist or prove that even brilliant minds can see patterns where none exist. Wednesday’s event has become more than a press briefing—it’s transformed into an institutional referendum on extraordinary claims. If 3I/ATLAS behaves exactly as natural physics predicts, one of astronomy’s most prominent voices may have staked his reputation on phantom anomalies."
(It already hasnt:
"behaves exactly as natural physics predicts"
And they are not:
"phantom anomalies."
Comets don't have anti-tales
and sublimate ices 6 AU from the sun
and change colors
and brighten and dim
before they get close enough to the sun
to explain it.
Pretty simple.
HELLO?
ANYBODY HOME?
At the end of this piece
we are going to talk about
how the narrative
of 3I/ATLAS has been framed.)
"NASA doesn’t typically roll out its Associate Administrator, its Science Mission Directorate leadership, (Another "associate" and multiple division heads for routine comet observations."
(Nor do they wait over 6 weeks
to release photographs from their instruments.
And the fact that NASA is rolling out:
Briefing participants include:
NASA Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya
Nicky Fox, associate administrator, Science Mission Directorate
Shawn Domagal-Goldman, acting director, Astrophysics Division
Tom Statler, lead scientist for solar system small bodies
Tells you this isnt about:
"routine comet observations"
cause its not a "routine comet"
as those dont have anti-tails.
Not really seeing:
"multiple division heads"
in that list.
)
"The agency doesn’t request
press presence and prime-time"
(3 PM EST is Prime time?
Interesting.)
"streaming across NASA+, YouTube, and Amazon Prime for objects that follow predictable trajectories."
"When Goddard Space Flight Center opens its doors Wednesday at 3 p.m. EST and four senior officials take questions live about 3I/ATLAS, the third interstellar object ever detected entering our solar system, the unspoken message is clear: what they’re about to show us matters.
(Nasa has only said it will be
"a live event."
And you bet it matters
and how they conduct themselves
says as much
as what they are gonna say.)
"The stakes extend far beyond institutional credibility. Over the past months, Harvard Professor Avi Loeb has identified twelve distinct anomalies in 3I/ATLAS that he argues cannot be explained by conventional comet behavior."
(Cause it's not a comet,
pretty simple.
that mysterious object shooting
Live science 07/03/25
"News of the extrasolar entity, initially dubbed A11pl3Z, broke on Tuesday (July 1), when NASA and the International Astronomical Union (IAU) both listed it as a confirmed object."
"On Wednesday (July 2), NASA released a statement confirming that A11pl3Z is indeed an interstellar object and will not remain in the solar system for long. The researchers also shared the object's new official name, 3I/ATLAS, and revealed that it is most likely a comet, upending previous assumptions that it was an asteroid."
(Where did those:
"Previous assumptions"
that were upended
come from?
Think NASA is going to answer that tomorrow?
I wouldn't be holding my breath
about it if I was you.)
"His latest speculation suggests the object may be firing thrusters—a claim that, if unsupported by NASA’s comprehensive imagery and data analysis, could fundamentally damage the credibility of a scientist who has spent years arguing that the scientific establishment dismisses evidence of technological signatures too quickly."
(Avi's reputation will be fine,
he has been doing this for a long time now.
When I read my first article about 3I/ATLAS
the first thing that popped in my head was:
"I wonder what Avi thinks about this?"
Replace "technological"
on his Blog Post on Medium
with "supernatural"
and everything 100% makes sense.)
"Loeb has built a public platform around the premise that objects like ‘Oumuamua and potentially 3I/ATLAS exhibit characteristics inconsistent with natural celestial mechanics.
Because they do!
You have to know what time we are living in!
Joel 2:30-31
And I will shew wonders in the heavens
and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
and the moon into blood,
before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.
Oumuamua showed up 8 years ago!
I was yapping about it back in the day as well!
"Wednesday’s data release represents the most direct test yet
of whether those claims rest on rigorous observation or confirmation bias."
(Avi knows more about this
thing than anybody.
Like I said, go with him
and substitute
"Supernatural" for "Technological"
and consider the times we are living in
and it all makes sense.)
"NASA’s briefing participants signal the seriousness with which the agency is treating this moment. Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya rarely appears at object-specific press events.
Nicky Fox, who oversees the entire Science Mission Directorate,"
(NASA Website "Nicky Fox,
associate administrator,
Science Mission Directorate)
"doesn’t schedule live Q&A sessions for standard comet passes."
(Because its not a:
standard comet pass.)
"Shawn Domagal-Goldman and Tom Statler—acting director of Astrophysics and lead scientist for solar system small bodies respectively—represent
the institutional authority
NASA deploys
when it needs to deliver
definitive scientific conclusions.
(I 100% disagree.
All "acting director" means is
they didnt have to go through Senate Confirmation
or they were appointed
until a suitable replacement can be found.
This type of leadership
in no way represents:
"the institutional authority NASA deploys
when it needs to deliver
definitive scientific conclusions."
But instead
points to the careful political consideration
given to the subject matter.
"Acting Directors"
do what
their political overlords want
them to do.
The people who appointed them.
They do not represent:
" the institutional authority NASA
(or any other agency)
deploys."
To go against your political bosses wishes
will get you terminated.
That is why you are
"The Acting Director"
to begin with.
Do what we say,
or you are gone.)
"The lineup suggests
NASA believes it has answers,
not just more observations."
("The line up"
mentioned above
and the setting:
"NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center
in Greenbelt, Maryland."
13 miles outside of Washington
suggest political overtones
from the get go.
Why am I not shocked.)
"The comet itself presents a unique observational opportunity that explains why NASA has marshaled so many assets to track it. Discovered July 1 by the NASA-funded ATLAS observatory, 3I/ATLAS entered our solar system from interstellar space and flew within 19 million miles of Mars in early October before continuing its trajectory that will bring it no closer than 170 million miles to Earth.
(Well see
thing has behaved erratically since they first spotted it.
Not to mention the Mars close encounter (impact perhaps) etc)
Hey, Avi is the one that said with a small course correction
it could be 0 AU from Mars to 3I/ATLAS, not me lol.
I just agreed with him lol.)
"That distance eliminates any planetary defense concerns,
33 Billion tons
of nickel
23 KM across
going 130,000 mph? kmph?
What fuckin difference does it make
if that is the case:
33 Billion tons
of nickel
23 KM across
going 130,000 mph? kmph?
There is nothing suitable for:
"any planetary defense")
"...but the object’s interstellar origin makes it scientifically invaluable."
"NASA’s distributed network of spacecraft and ground observatories has monitored 3I/ATLAS almost continuously throughout its passage, collecting data from multiple angles with complementary instruments—a surveillance capability no other nation possesses and one that should provide comprehensive answers to the questions Loeb has raised."
(Okay So if:
"NASA’s distributed
network of spacecraft and ground observatories
has monitored 3I/ATLAS
almost continuously throughout its passage,
collecting data from multiple angles
with complementary instruments"
then why are they just now having a live event
releasing images of 3I/ATLAS
when it was on its closest approach to Mars?
Why is there only one image
that keeps being referred to over and over again
from Hubble no less not the JWST
that everyone uses to justify its size?
Why isnt there more images
Than just that one to guage its size?
And wouldn't they have released data a while back
that would have discredited
Avi before now
if they had all of that?
And where are the pictures
from the CME hitting it then?
Hum...)
"Those twelve anomalies Loeb has catalogued range from unexpected brightness fluctuations to non-gravitational acceleration signatures to thermal behavior inconsistent with typical comet outgassing. Each anomaly, viewed individually, might permit natural explanations involving unusual composition, asymmetric sublimation, or fragmentation events."
(100% false.
Who ever wrote that?
Hasn't read about them in detail.
Avis anomalies
just can not be explained away.
In particular the "anti-tail".
If that was the case?
Then NASA wouldn't be having
"a live event"
Thursday.
See where that got complicated?
Yeah me neither.
"Taken together, Loeb argues, they form a pattern suggesting something more deliberate—potentially artificial propulsion
(Sunday, November 9, 2025
It's not a technological problem...(3I/ATLAS)
"or structural characteristics that don’t align with icy bodies formed in stellar nurseries billions of years ago. The thruster speculation represents his most provocative claim yet, one that demands either spectroscopic evidence of exhaust plumes or trajectory deviations that precisely match powered flight rather than solar radiation pressure and volatile outgassing."
(Thing has had:
"Trajectory deviations"
since they found it.
It's one of the things they dont like to bring up
and it takes effort to find out about them online.
WHY
??????????)
"Wednesday’s event will force a direct confrontation
between observational data and theoretical speculation."
(Again incorrect.
Avi has used the data available
to point out
3I/ATLAS anomalies.
His conjectures
are about it being technological
because of the anomalies the data shows
as compared to other comets.)
"If NASA’s imagery shows standard comet morphology—a nucleus surrounded by a coma with dust and gas jets emerging from sun-facing regions,
(It had and has an anti-tail!)
"brightness changes correlating
with rotation and distance from the sun,"
(It was sublimating at 6 AU
when it shouldn't have been.)
"and acceleration profiles
matching established cometary physics"
(It got faster than it should have
by just outgassing alone.)
"—then Loeb’s anomalies
dissolve into measurement uncertainties
and interpretive overreach."
(All three of those points
have already been determined,
and none of them:
"dissolve into measurement uncertainties
and interpretive overreach.")
"If, however, NASA’s senior scientists
(That aint exactly who is going to be there yo.
Look at the list again:
NASA Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya
Nicky Fox, associate administrator, Science Mission Directorate
Shawn Domagal-Goldman, acting director, Astrophysics Division
Tom Statler, lead scientist for solar system small bodies
(Im going to tell you right now
this is going to be a political event,
not a scientific one.
And it will cause more questions
than it answers.
Which isnt what truth does.
Somebody will get fired over it.
Betcha.)
"...struggle to explain symmetric brightness, unusual spectral signatures, or trajectory modifications that don’t fit gravitational models, the briefing could validate concerns that have been building in some corners of the scientific community since ‘Oumuamua’s perplexing 2017 flyby."
(Thats the third time
"trajectory"
was used in this article.
Thats more than I have seen it used
in all the articles about 3I/ATLAS
I have read in a month.)
"What’s at stake for Loeb personally is the trajectory of his late-career pivot from conventional astrophysics into the search for technological signatures and extraterrestrial artifacts. He’s written books, launched expeditions, and
built a public following
around the argument
("Be wary the people
telling you what you want to hear
in the end times.)
"that science systematically ignores evidence
that challenges anthropocentric assumptions
about our uniqueness in the cosmos."

anthropocentric assumptions
about our uniqueness in the cosmos."

thinks about that?)
"For science itself, the stakes are equally significant but point in the opposite direction. If NASA can provide natural explanations for all twelve anomalies—demonstrating that unusual doesn’t mean artificial,
(Hold up!
1) If they could?
They already would have.
And there would be no
"live event" Thursday.
AND?
They aren't just "unusual"
They violate the laws of physics
(some do anyway, anti-tail
and no its not an optical illusion)
which are the same natural laws
regardless of where
3I/ATLAS came from.)
"...and that our models of cometary behavior
adequately account for the observations—"
(Again, we already know
they don't
otherwise there is no need for the NASA live event.
Duh.)
"...it validates the scientific method’s ability
to distinguish genuine mysteries from apparent ones."
(Avi uses the data
to point out 3I/ATLAS anomalies.
His conjecture is
why they exist to begin with
"technological etc.)
"The public has been invited to participate through the #AskNASA hashtag,"
(No I wont be participating
as I already know
they wouldn't answer my questions anyway
but me and honey are planning on watching
very intently.
Probably taking notes.
Need a transcript already lol...)
"and media participation requires advance registration—
procedural details that
underscore NASA’s intention
to make this event transparent and interactive
rather than a controlled information release.
(Well see about that.
I think it will be a lot more measured
and controlled information flow type of affair.
I just dont think they want to answer
to many questions about it TBH.
And the question above about
why just the Hubble image to gauge its size with
(till Thursday at least, hopefully)
is an extremely valid point.)
"The agency is clearly confident
in what it’s prepared to present."
(Well they had long enough to try and make some bull shit up
