This guy invented
"the architecture"
AI runs on.
"Whats happening is
these things
are getting smarter.
(It is not a technology,
it is an intelligence)
And once you have AI Agents
you give them goals
and to achieve goals
they have to create sub goals.
Like if you want to get to Europe
you have to get to an airport.
Now one sub goal
that we have seen them generate is
self preservation.
(That is a sign of Superintelligence BTW

So obviously if an agent has some things he's
trying to achieve, and it's smart,
it realizes that if it ceases to exist
it wont achieve those things.
So I think as they get smarter
were going to see more
and more complex intentions
they have, and more and more ability
to escape control
(The OpenAI/Hugging Face event
had already proven this
BEFORE
he was saying this at the
Ai4 Conference Aug 6-8 26 )

They had already demonstrated that
before he ever said it.
And this is the guy who said he saw
"human extinction level events" emerging
