I ran across here and there the last few days:

Zechariah 10:2

For the idols have spoken vanity, 

and the diviners have seen a lie, 

and have told false dreams;

 they comfort in vain: 

therefore they went their way as a flock, 

they were troubled, 

because there was no shepherd.

(Might as well be talking about the practitioners of scientism right now today. 

The new false prophets of Baal as it were.)

Psalm 81:12

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts

    to follow their own devices.

(The practitioners of faith-based scientism again anybody?

Humanity as a whole these days pretty much.

Keep ignoring everything going on right in front of you.
