(You don't use a once in a lifetime attack (pager/walkie talkie) to severely weaken your adversary (Hezbollah) to create a window of opportunity to go after the big fish (Irans nuclear program) and then just waste it on shit you could have done without doing all the above, ie "targeted assassinations and taking out Iran's air defense systems". I just don't see what is so complicated here.)
