the way they portray it in the headlines
verses what is really going on:
gains 360° engagement capability
armyrecognition.com 08/18/25
"The engagement...
marks a pivotal advancement
toward achieving
full 360-degree
engagement capability"
"This represents
a major milestone
in closing operational gaps
against evolving
aerial and missile threats."
Lil late to the party
dont ya think?
Let me put it to you an other way.
We are 35 years past
the first Gulf War
and the much touted
"American Patriot Air Defense"
(Vastly overrated and always has been BTW,
just because its the best "western air defense system"
available, does not mean its a great system.)
is still not capable of:
"full 360-degree
engagement capability"
simply put
it cant see behind itself.
Cant mount it on
something that spins 360 degrees?
All those billions
spent on defense spending
and 35 years after
the first gulf war
it still cant see behind
its back side?
So where was the $ going then?
Cause it sure wasnt going
to protect me or you.
