After the conclusion of "negotiations" in Rome
this past Saturday 4/19?
The most telling thing to me has been, the lack of an official statement from the White House about the talks. What does that tell you? That is, the US isn't even bothering with going through all the mechanizations to make this appear as a legitimate negotiations.
Iran-US talks updates: Two sides to hold more nuclear discussions
Second round of US-Iran talks held in Rome
Published On 19 Apr 2025
"The first thing to say is we only know the Iranian side’s thoughts about what happened here. We haven’t had a statement from the US yet about how it views the meetings that took place."
(Still no statement, and that says a lot.)
WHY EVEN BOTHER WHEN THE OUTCOME HAS ALREADY BEEN DECIDED?
Seems to be the message that's being sent by not issuing a formal statement on the proceedings. Its not what gets said that matters, a lot of times it is what is not said that carries more weight than what is.
With all that being said?
Misc tidbits on the topic follow.
The Iran Threat Geiger Counter: Extreme Danger Grows
4/08/25
"Since February 2024, the date of the last edition of the Geiger Counter, the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear program has worsened significantly. Major negative factors include Iran’s greater nuclear weapon capabilities, its shorter time frames to build nuclear weapons, and the growing normalization of internal Iranian discussions favoring building nuclear weapons. The possibility of Iran deciding to build nuclear weapons has been increased by the ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East, pitting Iran and its proxy forces against Israel and its allies, a conflict Iran is losing. The volatile security situation is now combined with the perception, if not the reality, that Iran is preparing to build nuclear weapons."
In Iran Talks, Trump Is Edging Toward Reviving an Old Deal
NYT 4/19/25
Seen various headlines along this line of reasoning and it is simply a preposterous assertation.
We are doing all the military asset repositioning that we are doing,
both just here recently.)
and have been doing for a while now,
just so that we can go back
to what we had before Trump
unilaterally withdrew the US from JCPOA?
Never thought I would live to see the day
that the NYT would purpose something that ridiculous,
and that people would buy into it.
27 August 2024
"The military later released a separate statement on Halevi’s meeting with Brown at Northern Command headquarters, saying the commanders were “presented with [details of] the ongoing combat against Hezbollah during the war and the operational plans for the future.”
"The pair also “discussed security and strategic issues regarding the expansion of operational tools and the strengthening of regional partnerships as part of the response to threats in the Middle East.”
“The IDF will continue to deepen its relationship with the US Armed Forces out of a commitment to strengthening regional stability and the coordination between the two militaries,” the Israeli military added.
So?
Do you really think we do all of that
just so we can have negotiations
to get back to where we were
before our withdrawal from JCPOA?
Cause apparently the NYT does, or the NYT (and others as mentioned)
wants you to think so.
Not to mention:
The Iran Threat Geiger Counter: Extreme Danger Grows
4/08/25
"Israeli retaliation against multiple Iranian attacks have left Iran exposed and vulnerable to future attack, eliminating much of Iran’s veneer of strength. Iran finds itself increasingly isolated in the Middle East and many of its former allies and partners have had their capabilities greatly diminished or have utterly collapsed. Hezbollah and Hamas have been decimated by Israeli military actions and covert operations that have effectively decapitated their leaderships and offensive capabilities. The Assad Regime in Syria, a key Iranian ally and antagonist to Israel, completely collapsed and was replaced with a new government. The destruction of Iran’s proxy forces has removed a key offensive tool that it relied on for decades to project power and check Israeli actions in the region."
"On April 19th, ( 2024) Israel retaliated by launching airstrikes on missile defense sites near the Iranian city of Esfahan, near a key Iranian nuclear facility. The retaliatory attack destroyed an S-300 missile defense battery, proving that even Iran’s most advanced missile defense system is vulnerable to attack and Iran was unable to detect or shoot the incoming Israeli missiles down. "
"Israel retaliated on October 26, 2024, by using more than 100 aircraft, including F-35 stealth fighters, to launch airstrikes on numerous Iranian S-300 missile defense batteries as well as missile component production facilities at the Parchin military complex and an additional facility, known as Taleghan-2 at Parchin, connected to Iranian nuclear weaponization work during the early 2000s. The attack eliminated much of Iran’s air defense capabilities, hampering Iran’s ability to defend itself from an aerial assault and making it vulnerable to future air strikes on key military sites, including nuclear facilities. Israel proved it can deeply penetrate Iranian airspace with advanced precision missiles and destroy select buildings at military complexes. Israel’s destruction of Taleghan-2 signaled to Iran its ability to detect, target, and destroy facilities that may be related to nuclear weaponization work."
So all of that above?
Just to go back to where we were before we withdrew from JCPOA?
It's simply an asinine position to hold.
Israel still eyeing a limited attack on Iran's nuclear facilities
April 19, 2025
"Netanyahu has insisted that any negotiation with Iran must lead to the complete dismantling of its nuclear program."
(Ever since the war in Gaza he has stated they will not be finished:
"until all of the goals of the war have been met."
and
the complete dismantling of Iran's nuclear program
has always been the ultimate goal of what was started in Gaza
and carried into Yemen and Lebanon.)
"Over the past months, Israel has proposed to the Trump administration a series of options to attack Iran’s facilities, including some with late spring and summer timelines, the sources said."
(Late June would be my guess.)
"Israeli officials now believe that their military could instead launch a limited strike on Iran that would require less U.S. support..."
(Because they have their own "bunker busters" now, we wouldn't sell them any, so they just made their own.)
"Parts of the plans were previously presented last year to the Biden administration, two former senior Biden administration officials told Reuters. Almost all required significant U.S. support via direct military intervention or intelligence sharing. Israel has also requested that Washington help Israel defend itself should Iran retaliate."
(Thats what we will be needed for more than anything.
Trump: Israel would be ‘leader’ of Iran strike if Tehran doesn’t give up nuclear weapons program
4/09/25
“When you start talks, you know, if they’re going along well or not,” Trump said. “And I would say the conclusion would be what I think they’re not going along well. So that’s just a feeling.”
(Horseshit, its already in the works and he knows it.
Its the reason for no statement coming out of Saturdays talks.
And why is nobody talking about that?
Why is nobody anywhere talking about the lack of a statement from the US this past Saturday?)
"In response to a request for comment, the U.S. National Security Council referred Reuters to comments Trump made on Thursday, when he told reporters he has not waved Israel off an attack but that he was not "in a rush" to support military action against Tehran."
(Because we have to get things in place still.
Cause all hell is going to break loose
Eastern Europe, Indo-Pacific etc...)
I just can not believe
people can not see through
all of this nonsense.

Its a lot bigger deal than you are being led to believe
That was almost a year ago.
I couldn't sleep that night
KNOWING
where this was heading.
And now were just about there.
Second round of Iran nuclear talks set for Saturday as Trump criticizes Iran for ‘tapping us along’
4/14/25
“I think they're tapping us along,”
One thing I have learned for certain
about toxic people is this:
They always, always, always,
accuse you of what they are doing.
Think about it for a second.
