Out with the old, and in with the new?

Or?
Biker life as it relates to Joel Two?
Or?
Secrets of the universe in an old pair of boots
and bike parts?

CYCLE OF LIFE Y'ALL.

Come on.

Birth.
Growth
Peak
Decline
Death
Goes back to birth.
Growth etc.

Cycle never stops.

From stars, to our lives, to crops and the seasons.
It's everywhere.
Its evident right in front of you.
Universal truth.
Right in front of your eyes everyday.
It's all on here bunches of times.

But regardless what I decide to call this ?

Here it is:

Gonna start with the boots

Wore the pair on the left almost everyday for over four years.
:-)
Zippers busted in each one.
Holes in the soles of each as well.
The new pair on the right was basically the same boot,
just lil more narrow and the buckle was different.
They're broke in now. Solid,

$10?
Are you kidding me?
Deal
Chrome plated HD Valve caps.
Functional and decorative.

Smoked out lenses with red light
instead of red lenses with white light.
Check.

Belt inspection cover and bolts black, check.
Updated gear linkage, check

Smoked out turn signal lenses.
Yellow bulbs instead of yellow lenses.
Trying to get as much black as possible is kinda the game plan.
Like the way the tuner and the slipstream pegs look.

Live to ride ride to live brass eagle timer cover,
check.
Just made an enormous difference in the look of the bike.
Crazy what one lil piece can do.

Now it matches the Derby cover on the other side.

Flush mount gas cap, check.

Old timer cover.
Toe and heel kickplates from old boots.
(Can't tell it but they say Harley Davidson)
Old piece of barn wood.
Couple screws and a piece of wire and?
Putting it together with a good buddy and?
Wall decor, $1.79.

The point is.
Things evolve.
They grow they change they peak they decline they die etc.

Life isn't static.
It's in constant motion.
It's growing and changing and evolving
whether we want it to or not.

Dad read a book once called
"Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance"

I think Im gonna have to check it out :-).

Get it?
Cycle of life?
:-)
I love you baby.
