"War

Children...

it's just a shot away..."

Wait till regional wars start flaring up and then escalate
into full blow global conflicts
along with fighting the covid-19 at the same time.
And the economy?
What economy?

It's coming.
Times of tribulation.
It's all brewing.
It's not explained but one place.

We are at the start of the first woe and people are flipping out.

Best to get ready spiritually.
Keep telling everybody.

I love you honey.

Hey

Submission is earned.

Never demanded.

Oh

and after the Locust are released from the bottomless pit?

Revelation 9:2-3

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

Revelation 9:12-16

One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet,
Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

Yep.

"It's just a shot away...
It's just a shot away..."

While were

on the subject:

That's only the second time I ever saw "sagacity" used.
Besides myself :-).

The only other time I've seen this word used was in Matthew Henry's Commentary on Joel 2.

sa·gac·i·ty
/səˈɡasədē/

noun
the quality of being sagacious.
"a man of great political sagacity"
Similar:
wisdom
(deep) insight
intelligence
understanding
judgment
acuity
astuteness
insight
sense
canniness
sharpness
depth
profundity
profoundness
perceptiveness
penetration
perception
percipience
perspicuity
discernment
erudition
learning
knowledgeability
thoughtfulness
sapience

Opposite:
stupidity.

Come to think of it?
Kinda serendipitous all on it's own.

I love you honey.

Yep

I firmly believe I hear the voice of God in popular music.
That is no big secret.

So yesterday?
I go to get lunch and I'm just sitting there smiling thinking bout things.
And then out of nowhere I was like oh yeah thats a great song...
Not my favorite band but that song and that record are very good.

And right then?
The lyrics?

"Cast in this unlikely role
Ill-equipped to act
With insufficient tact
One must put up barriers
To keep oneself intact"

I was like yep.
Tell me about it.

"Those who wish to be
Must put aside the alienation
Get on with the fascination
The real relation
The underlying theme"

"All the world's indeed a stage
And we are merely players
Performers and portrayers
Each another's audience
Outside the gilded cage"

And then?
Cause you know?
That wasn't serendipitous enough already?
(Just spelled serendipitous correctly, first attempt BTW :-).

Then next up we get:

You see the world through your cynical eyes
You're a troubled young man I can tell
You've got it all in the palm of your hand
But your hand's wet with sweat and your head needs a rest

And you're fooling yourself if you don't believe it
You're kidding yourself if you don't believe it
Why must you be such an angry young man
When your future looks quite bright to me
How can there be such a sinister plan
That could hide such a lamb, such a caring young man

You're fooling yourself if you don't believe it
You're kidding yourself if you don't believe it
Get up, get back on your feet
You're the one they can't beat and you know it
Come on, let's see what you've got
Just take your best shot and don't blow it

You're fooling yourself if you don't believe it
You're killing yourself if you don't believe it
Get up, get back on your feet
You're the one they can't beat and you know it
Come on, let's see what you've got
Just take your best shot and don't blow it

I'm just sitting there smiling.
Eating my lunch thinking...

Could there have been two more perfect songs for how I was feeling right then?

OH YEAH.
Damn...

Almost forgot about it.
Before all that?

"Oh, a storm is threat'ning
My very life today
If I don't get some shelter
Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away"

I was just like...
Smiling like crazy thinking...
Tell me about it brother...
Lived it.
Couple times.

There aint no storm right now honey :-).
All good baby.

But those aren't just lyrics.
That's real life...
People...
Getting through some shit
And sometimes not really knowing
Which way things are gonna turn out
good or bad

You know what I'm saying?
Lived through some shit storms in my life I'd just as soon never have seen.
Lots of us have.
Smooth seas dont make a good sailor right?
:-)

Those lyrics were just intense yesterday.
Hit me just right.

Back to my original point.

Sermon Notes and some additions 2/23/2020

Psalms 24:3-4

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.

Romans 12:2

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ambassadors of God/
Sent from Gods Kingdom.
Not from here.

1 Peter 2:11

Dear friends, I urge you as aliens and temporary residents not to give in to the desires of your old nature, which keep warring against you; but to live such good lives among the pagans that even though they now speak against you as evil-doers, they will, as a result of seeing your good actions, give glory to God on the Day of his coming.

(I've always loved that verse because I just do not feel like I'm from this realm.
I just don't.
I haven't for a long time.
Probably never gonna again.)

Ezekiel 20:12

Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the Lord made them holy.

"Unlike Joshua and Caleb, the other Israelites followed the Lord's calling out from Egypt, but they did not follow Him into the land. Many Christians repeat this same error today. They have followed the Lord as He led them out of the spiritual death of sin and guilt. They are "out of Egypt." They are forgiven of their sins. They have new life in Christ. However, they do not follow the Lord on "into the land." They do not follow by faith into abundance of life. They do not follow the Lord in humble dependence for transformation, for fruitfulness, for a life of spiritual victory."

Root Word for Holy

The Hebrew word for holy is “qodesh” and means “apartness, set-apartness, separateness, sacredness” and I would add that it should also be “otherness, transcendent and totally other” because God is totally above His creation and His creatures, including us.  Holy has the idea of heaviness or weight of glory.  In the New Testament, the word for holy is “hagios” and means set apart, reverend, sacred, and worthy of veneration.”  This word applies to God because God Himself is totally other, separate, sacred, transcendent, reverend, and set apart from every created thing.  Since God is spirit this is why the Third Person of the Trinity is called the Holy Spirit.  He too is fully God and all three Persons of the Trinity are holy and have the weight of glory abounding in them.

If you follow the world?
You'll grow old.
If you follow Gods Kingdom?
You'll grown new.

I like that.
I'm not growing old honey.
I'm being transformed sweetheart.

Yeah

so...

Those few moments were coming to a close last Sunday.
And I was like you know...
turn it off please.
I got enough to work with here for a while.
I'll write it up.
No problem.

And he tells me:

"There is freedom in submission.
There is freedom,
in giving your will over to me."

And I was like yes.
Yes there is.
Most definitely.
And he asked:
"Do you know where this is going?

I said yep.
Pretty sure.
Abraham and Sarah right?

BINGO!
Jackpot.

Share that also.
Last one for a minute.
Almighty.
No problem.
Doing so.
Right now.

Revisiting

Highlights

Sarah is commended twice by New Testament writers, once for her faith (Heb. 11:11) and once for her submission to her husband (1 Pet. 3:5, 6). The Apostle Peter went so far as to say she “obeyed Abraham, calling him lord.”

"faith and submission, actually go together."

Submission for a wife is basically faith that God is working through her husband to accomplish what is best for her. And that is the story of Sarah’s life with Abraham.

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you."

“By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going”

Sarah was not a weak, spineless, overly dependent, empty-headed woman. Her parents called her Sarai, and names had meaning in the ancient biblical world. Hers meant “princess.” It may have described her great beauty, which is referred to twice in the inspired record (Gen. 12:11, 14). It probably described, as well, her cultured upbringing, her fine education, her stately charm, and her gracious manner. When God changed her name to Sarah, he did not remove the princely connotation, but rather added the further dignity of motherhood. She is called in that context “a mother of nations” (Gen. 17:15-16).

Sarah was an intelligent and capable woman. But when she married Abraham she made a decision. She established as her mission in life the task of helping her husband fulfill God’s purposes for him. That was not weakness. It was God’s will for her life: true biblical submission. Some wives have been systematically sabotaging God’s plan for their husbands because they have not been willing to believe God and entrust themselves to His wisdom. They simply will not trust God to work through their husbands to accomplish what is best. They feel they must help God along by trying to dominate their husbands.

but by his side was Sarah, woman of submission and faith (Gen. 12:5). The days ahead would see her faith severely tested and her submissiveness sorely tried.

"Faith grows best under attack."

Let’s explore, secondly, the continuing struggles of faith. Faith grows best under attack. The person who prays for God to take away his problems may be asking for a sickly spiritual life. Sometimes our faith falters under the stress, but if we admit the failure and accept God’s forgiveness, even those failures can contribute to our spiritual growth. Abraham and Sarah are both commended for their great faith in Scripture, but their failures are recorded for our instruction and encouragement.

There was a famine in the land and Abraham decided to leave the place which God had promised him and flee into Egypt (Gen. 12:10). Had he consulted Sarah, she might have pointed out the foolishness of his decision, but like many men he moved ahead with his plans without considering the hardships he could cause her. Too many men refuse to ask advice from their wives. They think headship gives them the prerogative of doing whatever they please without talking it over with their wives and coming to a mutually acceptable agreement. They are afraid their wives might find cracks in their logic or expose their narrow-minded selfishness. So they barge ahead with their plans and the whole family suffers for it.

but Sarah’s faith in God and submission to her husband are still beautifully illustrated in this Old Testament narrative. The true test of a wife’s submission may come when she knows her husband is making a mistake.

He never forsakes those who trust him

He never forsakes those who trust him. You would think the lesson of God’s sovereign care would have been so indelibly inscribed on Abraham’s soul after this experience that he would never compromise his wife again to protect himself. But he did. About twenty years later he did exactly the same thing with Abimelech, king of Gerar (Gen. 20:1-8). This shows how weak and faithless the faithful can be. There are probably some sins we think we will never commit again, but we must ever be watchful, for that is exactly where Satan will attack us.

It was obviously motivated by her love for Abraham and her desire for him to have that son. And sharing her husband with another woman would have been one of the most sacrificial things she could do. But it was not God’s way. It was another fleshly solution. And God’s ways are always best even when He is withholding what we think we need at the moment.

Too often we time-conscious earthlings resent His long delays and take matters into our own hands, usually to our great distress. If we could learn to keep trusting Him when our situation looks the bleakest, we would save ourselves much grief.

It’s hard for a wife to be in subjection to a jellyfish, a man who avoids issues, puts off decisions, and shirks his responsibilities. There is nothing to submit to, no leadership to follow. A wife cannot help her husband fulfill God’s goals for his life when she doesn’t even know what his goals are.

She was listening at the tent door and laughed to herself, saying, “After I have become old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” (Gen. 18:12). Incidentally, this was how Peter knew she called him “lord.” The submission was there, but her faith was wavering. The struggles of faith are real and we all experience them. Satan’s darts of doubt seem to be flying in our direction much of the time, and we too may be tempted to snicker skeptically at the very thought of God solving our thorny problems.

“Why did Sarah laugh?” God asked quickly. “Is anything too difficult for the Lord?” (Gen. 18:13, 14). That poignant challenge pierced their faltering hearts, and faith was rekindled, strong and steadfast. There was that brief setback in Gerar (Gen. 20:1-8). But basically things were different from that moment on.

The life of faith is never free from obstacles.

Healthy submission does not prohibit the expression of opinions. That is a sick submissiveness, usually motivated by a low self-esteem (“my opinions aren’t worth anything”), by a fear of unpleasant circumstances (“I want peace at any price”), or by the avoidance of responsibility (“let somebody else make the decision; I don’t want to get blamed”).

Sarah at least said what was on her mind. And furthermore, she was right!

God told Abraham to listen to Sarah and to do what she said (Gen. 21:12). Imagine that—even though Sarah got emotional, God wanted Abraham to heed her advice. He often wants to use wives to correct their husbands, to advise them, to mature them, to help them solve their problems and give them insight.

Some husbands make their wives feel like ignoramuses, whose ideas are ridiculous and whose opinions are worthless. The husband who does that is the real ignoramus. He has missed out on God’s best for him.

God wants him to listen to her—listen to her evaluation of the situation, listen to the changes she thinks should be made, listen when she tries to share her feelings and her needs—then do something constructive about it. One of the prevalent problems in Christian marriages today is that husbands are too proud to admit that there is anything wrong and too stubborn to do anything about it. God may want to enlighten them through their wives.

Sarah’s name does not appear in this chapter and we seldom mention her when we discuss it. But she certainly knew what was going on. She probably helped them prepare for the trip. She saw the wood, the fire, and the knife; she saw her son Isaac, and she saw Abraham, a look of agony etched on his weathered brow. But she saw no animal for the sacrifice.

She watched them disappear over the horizon, and though her motherly heart was breaking, she uttered not one word of protest. It was probably her greatest display of faith in God and submission to her husband’s will and purpose.

Thus Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, and you have become her children if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear” (1 Pet. 3:5, 6). A Christian wife need not have any fear of submissiveness when her hope is in God. He will be faithful to His Word and use her obedience to accomplish what is best for her.

Sarah was one of those women whom King Lemuel spoke about, who did her husband good and not evil all the days of her life (Prov. 31:12). A woman can only be that kind of wife when she believes that nothing is too difficult for God, and when she believes that God can use even her husband’s mistakes to bring glory to Himself and blessing to their lives. And a man can only be worthy of such a submissive wife when he has learned to follow God’s directions rather than pursue his own selfish goals, He knows he has no superiority to warrant his position of leadership. It is given to him by God. So he accepts it as a sacred trust and discharges it in full submission to his Lord and unselfish consideration for his wife and what is best for her.

Yesterdays

train of thought continued.

False church.

Revelation 17:4-5

The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:

BABYLON THE GREAT

THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES

AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH

Revelation 18:12

“The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore— cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves.

“They will say, ‘The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your luxury and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.’ The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn

Evangelicals broadly support a habitually lying greedy narcissist?
It's not exactly what I read in my bible.
And no, I don't care if it's a popular opinion or not.
It's the correct one.
The fact of the matter is they wouldn't like this guy if he was their neighbor.
And?
Eventually,
He turns on everyone around him.
Always has.
Always will.

Never again
will evangelical leaders
get to criticize a politicians character.

Ever.

Brilliant.
Way to go guys.

"In

the locust wind comes a rattle and hum..."

I always thought it was like The Doors meet Zeppelin.

I still got

a couple of more topics left.
But that is about gonna do it for today.

Do you see why I asked him to turn it off?
Takes him three to four minutes.
I go write down notes.
Next thing I know I'm in the library for hours.

So yeah...
:-).

I have a pretty good rapport with the big guy.
I don't mind asking him to scale it back here and there sometimes.

During this day?
This process?

I look at the clock on the microwave.
11:11.
You can't make it up.
I just laughed.
Next time I looked?
It was 11:12 on that clock.

I turn to get something off he counter in the kitchen.
There is another clock.
Guess what time it says?

Yep.

11:11.
I was like thats two clocks saying 11;11 within minutes of each other.

I'll let others make their own determination.
But it happens a lot.
But never on two clocks separated by a minute.

Then?

I go to sit down.
Write down my notes about topics to write about.

The second others came home.
The second the door opened?

I could physically feel the faucet being turned off as it were.
It was gone.
Just felt it.
Leave.
Vanished.

Were gonna have to figure out a way to get me some solitude sometimes honey.
Its only way this works sweetheart.
I love you baby.

Disinformation

is the new information.
Lies are the new truth.

Matthew 24:3-4

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately.
“Tell us,” they said,
“when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.

False Church

False doctrine.
Etc.

Trump carries favorable ratings of 75-81% among evangelicals even today.

I was going through my notes.
Bible study.
Lesson #15.
Book of Revelation.

The false church will work
(along with the antichrist)
with the government in the end times.

1 John 2:18

Warnings Against Denying the Son

Dear children,
this is the last hour;
and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming,
even now many antichrists have come.
This is how we know it is the last hour.

Four Winds Leveling

"The State Department is being hollowed out from within
at a competitive and complex time on the world stage."

"Former CIA Director John Brennan has sounded the alarm about the Trump administration’s alleged interference in the operations of US national security.

Speaking on Friday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mr Brennan referred to
“a virtual decapitation of the intelligence community”.

His comments follow reports that Donald Trump had deliberately interfered in the work of the intelligence community by attempting to prevent the flow of intelligence to Congress and by removing key figures from their leadership roles and replacing them with loyalists."

"Mr Brennan, who served as CIA director from 2013 to 2017 and has worked with six different presidents, said: “What we are seeing now is such an anomaly, such an aberration from what we have seen in the past about the importance of the independence of the intelligence community.”

At one point does the United States of Unconsciousness wake up and realize that these two things are not accidents?
That there is a puppet master pulling the strings?
That Trump isn't smart enough to figure out on his own how to destroy the US government?
Etc.

There is a global post WW2 cataclysm in the brewing.
Aint but one book that explains whats going on in perfect detail.
The US is going to be woefully unprepared for whats going to happen.

Revelation 7:1

144,000 Sealed

"After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.

"I used to say not that long ago, "the four winds are thought to be", forget that, they are. They are: China, Russia, The US, and Radical Islam. Radical Islam you might be saying? That is different than the others. ("It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns." Daniel 7:7 )When these four are equal in power and strength, the angels mentioned in Revelation 7 will release them and the seven years (or so many think) of tribulation will begin, denoting the start of the end times. Also during this time? The two witnesses from Revelation 11 will appear, also denoting the start of this period of tribulation.

"You be the guy/couple charged with announcing the start of the end times. Sounds fun right? Oh let, me tell ya it's a blast..."

The point I'm trying to make is...

We are here.
Be ready spiritually.
Ask about Christ.
Go find out.
Because it's all coming true.
Right before your very eyes.

Locust?
Fucking locust?
What more is it going to take?
For people to understand the times wea re living in?

Jeremiah 5:21

"Hear this,
O foolish and senseless people,
who have eyes but do not see,
who have ears but do not hear.

The news came on the other day about the events surrounding the intelligence community and I got up and went to the refrigerator and said:

"It's over, there is just no recovery from this."

The next day?
The very next day.

A former Head of the CIA who worked with six different presidents says the intelligence communities have been virtually decapitated.

It's all documented.
I've now said beforehand,
the same exact things as:
 a University Chancellor.
A Regional Fed Chair.
An Ex president.
A former National Security Adviser.
And now an ex -CIA chief.

The answer is simple.
It's not me doing the talking.
I'm merely a conduit for a message that needs to be heard.

"The effect of this blessing: They shall prophesy; they shall receive new discoveries of divine things, and that not for their own use only, but for the benefit of the church. They shall interpret scripture, and speak of things secret, distant, and future, which by the utmost sagacities of reason, and their natural powers, they could not have any insight into nor foresight of."

Mathew Henry commentary on Joel 2.

Talking about:

The Day of the Lord

“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
whom the Lord calls.

And...

You gonna try and tell me:

I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

This hasn't already happened?
It's all documented.
Right here.

I love you honey.
Busy day sweetheart.

Would habve loved to have placed the video on here.

Locust swarms.

Yeah.

You heard right.
Locust.

"The pests crossed the Gulf of Aden and arrived in Somalia and Ethiopia last year. They were spotted in Kenya about two months ago in what has become the worst infestation there in 70 years. The U.N. says the region is already vulnerable to food shortages, and it warns that the international community only has a small window to prevent "looming catastrophe."

"These things are voracious," says Keith Cressman, the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization's senior locust forecasting officer. A swarm the size of Manhattan can, in a single day, eat the same amount of food as everyone in New York and California combined, he says."

"Desert locusts, or Schistocerca gregaria, are known for their rapid reproduction and ability to migrate long distances with the wind. In "quiet periods" they typically stay within deserts in Africa, the Near East and Asia, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization. But in the most extreme infestations – what the FAO classifies as full-blown plagues – they have been known to extend to some 60 countries.

"It's a pest that has been around for eons and eons of time," Cressman says. "It has so many different survival mechanisms ... to just survive in some of the harshest areas and most remote parts of this planet. But it has this fabulous capacity to take advantage of good conditions."

"In mid-2018, a group of these pests found themselves in excellent conditions when a cyclone from the Indian Ocean hit an extremely remote area of the Arabian Peninsula known as the "Empty Quarter."

"That was just a huge sandy area that got wet by these extraordinary rains. And this is exactly what desert locusts need in order to lay their eggs and to breed," Cressman says.

"The animals reproduce rapidly – every three months. And they reproduce exponentially, he says, so in favorable conditions like these, the population could multiply by 400 times every six months."

"Typically, the Empty Quarter would dry out and the population would largely die off. But in late 2018, another cyclone hit in nearly the same spot and the population exploded yet again."

"The heightened cyclone activity in the region appears linked to climate change. "If this trend continues, if there's an increased frequency of cyclones in the Indian Ocean, it's quite obvious that there will be an increased frequency of desert locust outbreak and upsurges like the one we're seeing now in the Horn of Africa,"

Joel 2
An Army of Locusts

Blow the trumpet in Zion;
sound the alarm on my holy hill.

Let all who live in the land tremble,
for the day of the Lord is coming.
It is close at hand—
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains
a large and mighty army comes,
such as never was in ancient times
nor ever will be in ages to come.

 Before them fire devours,
    behind them a flame blazes.
Before them the land is like the garden of Eden,
    behind them, a desert waste—
    nothing escapes them.
 They have the appearance of horses;
    they gallop along like cavalry.
With a noise like that of chariots
    they leap over the mountaintops,
like a crackling fire consuming stubble,
like a mighty army drawn up for battle.

 At the sight of them, nations are in anguish;
    every face turns pale.
 They charge like warriors;
    they scale walls like soldiers.
They all march in line,
    not swerving from their course.
 They do not jostle each other;
    each marches straight ahead.
They plunge through defenses
    without breaking ranks.
 They rush upon the city;
    they run along the wall.
They climb into the houses;
like thieves they enter through the windows.

 Before them the earth shakes,
    the heavens tremble,
the sun and moon are darkened,
and the stars no longer shine.
 The Lord thunders
    at the head of his army;
his forces are beyond number,
and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the Lord is great;
    it is dreadful.
    Who can endure it?

When Gods armies come?
I love that BTW.
Not Gods army but God's armies.
They will be like a locust plague.
Destroying everthing in their path.

"like a crackling fire consuming stubble,"

There won't even be stubble left for people to consume.

"Before them the land is like the garden of Eden,
behind them, a desert waste—"

Agricultural land before and after locust swarms.

Revelation 9

The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

And the next step in the process?

Revelation 9 continued

The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.

The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. I heard their number.

The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.

The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Job 39:19-25

“Do you give the horse its strength
or clothe its neck with a flowing mane?
Do you make it leap like a locust,
striking terror with its proud snorting?
It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength,
    and charges into the fray.
It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing;
it does not shy away from the sword.
The quiver rattles against its side,
along with the flashing spear and lance.
 In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground;
it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
At the blast of the trumpet it snorts, ‘Aha!’
It catches the scent of battle from afar,
the shout of commanders and the battle cry.

Covid-19 and Locust swarms and it''s barely after 1 Pm Lucy.
I love you honey.

The Economic effects of Covid-19

The
world is a safer place they say.
The economy is fine they say.
Unemployment is at an all time low they say.
Stock market is up they say.

Get the fuck ready
I say.

Spiritually I mean.

1 Thessalonians 5:3

While people are saying,
“Peace and safety,”
destruction will come on them suddenly,
as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

I said that like six weeks ago.

And now?

"While the US is yet to suffer a major outbreak, federal health officials warned on Tuesday that it's inevitable.

"Investors are deluding themselves about how severe the coronavirus outbreak will be," the economist Nouriel Roubini wrote in a Financial Times column. "Despite this week's big sell-off in equity markets, the worst is yet to come."

"The one-two punch of a US-China trade war and a public-health crisis could hammer economic growth in China and elsewhere, said Jasper Lawler, the head of research at London Capital Group, in a morning note.
"The two global headwinds to strike China in such short order could do the unthinkable and put the global economy into recession," he wrote.

"...do the unthinkable..."

"The continued threat of coronavirus to consumer spending, supply chains, and trade is bringing the world "to the brink of a global recession" in 2020, the CEO of financial services firm deVere Group said Wednesday."

"Clearly, this will hit global supply chains, economies across the world and ultimately government coffers too."

"A pandemic contained within Asia would keep the hit to global growth to 0.5% - roughly $400 billion - in 2020 before a quick recovery in 2021.
A global pandemic would cut 1.3% - about $1.1 trillion - from the economists' baseline projection as a labor shortage, weakened tourism, and lower capital investment shocks the world economy, Oxford estimated.

(If it was contained to Asia it wouldn't be a pandemic as a pandemic is a sustained epidemic on two or more continents BTW)

"Together they could push the world to the brink of global recession this year," he added. "Whilst I am confident that we'll narrowly avoid a global recession in 2020, no-one can accurately predict the future - as we have seen with coronavirus, which markets wrongly assumed would be limited to mainly China."

"which markets wrongly assumed"

Hate that shit.
Markets don't assume, they are incapable of thought.
People assume.

“Peace and safety,”
destruction will come on them suddenly,
as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

"Ultimately we expect we will see community spread in the United States," Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told reporters during a conference call. "It's not a question of if this will happen, but when this will happen, and how many people in this country will have severe illnesses."
Messonnier also said: "We are asking the American public to prepare for the expectation that this might be bad."

That assessment was echoed by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, who told a Senate subcommittee  on Tuesday there would likely be additional cases of coronavirus in the US and called it "an unprecedented, potentially severe health challenge globally."

President Trump in a tweet on Monday said that the coronavirus was "very much under control" and insisted a day later that "the whole situation will start working out."
That position was mirrored by Larry Kudlow, the director of the National Economic Council. He said in a CNBC interview: "We have contained this. I won't say it's airtight, but it's pretty close to airtight."

(I have a very strong dislike for Mr Kudlow on several fronts but it's to long to get into here today)

The White House set up a task force last month, but lawmakers are growing concerned the administration isn't prepared to deal with a rapid outbreak.

They have good reason to be concerned.

"On the home front, health experts have long said the US is underprepared for a pandemic. But right now the situation looks even more precarious.

Just one day after DRC’s Ebola outbreak was declared, the head of global health security on the White House’s National Security Council, Rear Adm. Tim Ziemer, left the Trump administration amid a reorganization by national security adviser John Bolton, the Huffington Post reported this week.

The health security team Ziemer was leading has also been dismantled. That means the top White House official who would lead a pandemic response, along with his team, are gone.

That was May of 2018.
Do you really think we are more prepared now?

It's a double whammy for which there is no fix.
Tax cuts and stimulus are useless here.
Not only will people not be buying?
They are not gonna be able to produce as well.
Supply chain disruptions etc.

I'm laying there last night and for whatever reason,
"Rat Race" by Bob Marley came to mind.
I hadn't heard it in a while but that lyric:

"Oh, it's a disgrace
To see the human race
In a rat race, yeah"

was echoing in my mind
so I listened to it for the first time in a long time.

and...

When you think it's peace and safety
A sudden destruction
Collective security for surety, yeah!
Don't forget your history
Know your destiny
In the abundance of water
The fool is thirsty
Rat race

Yep. Accident right?
I'm used to it now.
Doesn't even phase me.

Of course those lyrics are in that song.
Why wouldn't they be?

And that just the first topic to post about today :-).
I love you Lucy.
