Central banks need to put rates into the ‘pain zone’ — but the Fed won’t do it, fund manager says

(Based on what? Continued lockdowns in China? Continued conflict in Ukraine? Where exactly is the "hope that inflation may be nearing its peak"? " "A slight ebb in core inflation"? Really? This is what were gonna put ALL of our hope in? I look like a CEO for "the world's largest publicly traded hedge fund company, reporting $117.7 billion in funds under management as of December 2019." Well no kidding, the fact of the matter is what somebody was saying a few months ago. 2.5% interest rates crash the housing market and at 4.5% we default on the INTEREST payment on the national debt.

 The fed simply can not raise rates in the manner that they need to. Their hands are tied, we have boxed ourselves into a corner for the last time. 

What they want you to believe is The Fed will do what lil it can, for as long as it can, in the HOPE that things will eventually fix themselves...Or? The Fed will do as lil as they can for as long as they can so that corporate profits can stay as high as they are for as long as they can, take your pick. I know which one I'd go with if I was you.

Transitory, I'm pretty sure was the word that was used.

Then it was just the Covid affected industries.

Then it was the wider economy.

And now it's worse than the experts were saying it would be?

Then the experts admitted we will have to have rate hikes but just .25% at a time.

And now were talking .5% hikes?

And now the mantra seems to be inflation has peaked...

I don't know about you, but if you pay close enough attention?

And you see the goalpost constantly being moved?

You start to get a sense of what's really going on.

To think that inflation has peaked has no empirical data to support that conclusion whatsoever...None.

In fact, quite the opposite is true and that conclusion (that inflation has nowhere near peaked) does have a basis in empirical data such as:

New Chapel UMC

 

Good Friday, April 15th 2022.

Sometimes we don't notice the moment for what it is when it happens.

This is not one of those instances.

If a "movement" were to be started? 

This date should be recognized as the day that seed was planted.

Forty nine people came to New Chapel UMC for a Good Friday Luncheon/Teaching point session on the events of Good Friday and it's history etc, led by pastor Mark Watson of Boling Chapel UMC. It was the most people we have had in our building for a minimum of six years.

I dare say that record will soon be eclipsed...repeatedly...and soon...

As the first person chosen to be New Chapels Historian? 

I just felt like the day needed to be commemorated.

Think about the bomb that went off a few years ago in Nashville targeting the ATT hub and internet was shut down over large parts of the southeast for a bit. Now imagine 12 or so coordinated attacks all over the country doing the same thing and targeting statehouses, governors residences ect all at the same time...

How much longer do you really think we got?

And the people that don't know anything about the great apostasy or the great falling away or the two witnesses or any other signs on the fig trees wanna try and tell you it's not now...

March, the biggest gain on record

Thats the one you need to watch more than the CPI.

This is what Wholesalers are paying now, meaning, what consumers will pay later etc...

"The producer price index, which measures the prices paid by wholesalers, increased 11.2% from a year ago, the most in a data series going back to November 2010. On a monthly basis, the gauge climbed 1.4%, above the 1.1% Dow Jones estimate and also a record."

"Stripping out food, energy and trade services, so-called core PPI rose 0.9% on a monthly basis, nearly double the 0.5% estimate and the biggest monthly gain since January 2021. Core PPI increased 7% on a year-over-year basis."

"PPI is considered a forward-looking inflation measure as it tracks prices in the pipeline for goods and services that eventually reach consumers."

"Markets are pricing in an almost certainty that the central bank will double that move at its May meeting, and will keep going until the fed funds rate hits about 2.5% by the end of the year."

There were plenty of "Heavy Hitters" in the text she read from believe me. 

I went back and reread all of the text and these were the verses that really jumped out at me for whatever reason. This is how you know it is a mystical book, different verses "resonate" at different times for different reasons even though the text stays the same...

In no particular order:

Luke 22:46

“Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

Which Reminded me of:

“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.

Genesis 6:13

"God told Noah, in general, that he would destroy the world (v. 13): The end of all flesh has come before me; I will destroy them; that is, the ruin of this wicked world is decreed and determined; it has come, that is, it will come surely, and come quickly."

I'm not sure what themes you are being exposed to this Holy Week, but a recurring theme around these parts (from multiple pastors) has been how quickly everything unfolded. Prophecies being fulfilled so quickly people couldn't see them for what they were, even when they were happening right in front of their faces. Rest assured it will be so again.

In the movie she was talking about the Presidents decision to use a nuke against an alien spacecraft hovering over Houston and it didn't work. It's not what I was thinking about when I heard her say that line, I'll just put it that way. She might as well have been talking about God's decision.

Please keep in mind, I didn't ever believe in UAP till I knew what they were and what their purpose is, and that was less than a year ago.
