conversation:

"That house went up in a day!

They had the walls framed and the second story on

The trusses for the roof were on,

The plywood was on all but the last three or four sheets,

The windows and the doors were in

and it was covered in paper all in a day!"

"Who is building it do you know?'

"Jagoe homes."

 :-).

It was pretty obvious it was not the answer to the question that they were expecting :-).

They wanted to know the individuals who were building it, not the company :-).

Pretty obvious they know who is building it as do many others :-)

Discernment yo.

:-).

I love you baby.

It's

a lil complicated. Go figure right?

Russia slides into historic debt default as payment period expires

"Interest payments totaling $100 million were due on May 27 and subject to a grace period which expired on Sunday night. Several media outlets have reported that bondholders have not received the payments, after Russia’s attempts to pay in its ruble currency were blocked by international sanctions."

(Russia is arguing that they are not in default, that they did in fact make the payment but being that they made it in rubles the payment was blocked. Like I said it's complicated and will end up in courts and it's not the point of what I'm trying to get to here. This is why I provide links to what I comment on, if you want all the gory details? Go ahead and read the entire article, what follows below is what I think is far more important than the technicalities of Russia's ruble payment not being accepted.)

Now a couple of miscellaneous points:

"Reuters reported early on Monday, citing two sources, that some Taiwanese holders of Russian eurobonds have not received the interest payments due on May 27, indicating that Russia might have entered its first foreign debt default since 1918, despite having ample cash and willingness to pay.

"Siluanov reportedly told Russian state-owned news agency RIA Novosti that the blockage of payments does not constitute a genuine default, which usually come as the result of unwillingness or inability to pay, and called the situation a “farce.”"

“Considering the G-7′s announcement over the weekend that the member nations plan to ban the importation of Russian gold, there appears to be an intention to continue increasing Russian sanctions.”

And Now the important stuff:

“But this default is important as it will impact on Russia’s ratings, market access and financing costs for years to come. And important herein, given the U.S. Treasury forced Russia into default, Russia will only be able to come out of default when the U.S. Treasury gives bond holders the green light to negotiate terms with Russia’s foreign creditors.”

"Ash suggested this process could take years or decades, even in the event of a cease-fire that falls short of a full peace agreement, meaning Russia’s access to foreign financing will remain limited and it will face higher borrowing costs for a long time to come."

"He argued that Russia’s alternative sources of foreign financing beyond the West, such as Chinese banks, would also be reluctant to look beyond the default headlines."

(Maybe, not necessarily sold on that point)

“If they are prepared to run the secondary sanctions risks — which so far they have not — and still lend to Russia, they will add a huge risk premium to lending rates for the prospect of somehow being dragged into future debt restructuring talks,” Ash said."

“It just makes lending to Russia that much more difficult, so people will avoid it. And that means lower investment, lower growth, lower living standards, capital and human flight (brain drain), and a vicious circle of decline for the Russian economy.”

(Now were getting to the heart of the matter)

Russia has thus far managed to implement successful capital controls that have supported the ruble currency, and continued to bring in substantial revenues from energy exports as a result of soaring oil and gas prices.

However, Ash suggested that the carbon transition and accelerated Western diversification away from Russian energy and commodities means that this “golden goose is cooked two to three years down the line.”

(That is the important part and what I am going to expound on here in a moment, "two to three years down the line.")

“So on a two to three years outlook Russia faces a collapse in export receipts, with almost no access to international financing because of sanctions and default,” he said."

Again, two to three year outlook.

Now remember this?

FYI

"“The first aircraft will only be launched from this carrier perhaps in late-2023 to 2024, and full operational capability will likely be declared closer to 2025,” he said.

(Three years...Interesting time line to say the least if you know anything about the Tribulation timeline)."

In two to three years China will have it's first completely homemade aircraft carrier able to launch aircraft. They already have hypersonic missiles able to take out our carriers as well as rendering our stealth aircraft inconsequential. Also at that time? "Russia faces a collapse in export receipts, with almost no access to international financing because of sanctions and default,”

What happens three and a half years after the Two Witnesses show up again?

THE GREAT TRIBULATION.

The first three and a half years after their arrival just marks the beginning of the seven year tribulation period. The second half of those seven years will be the great tribulation.

And China will have it's own aircraft carrier to project forward force and Russia will be facing collapse and the two witnesses get martyred in Jerusalem and the Antichrist projects his image on the temple etc.

Your of the opinion Thats not happening right in front of your eyes right now? That it's not going to happen? After we have already seen the signs and wonders in the heavens and earth? The great apostasy has already happened etc?

My personal belief is thus:

The first woe was the Financial crisis as it gave us no choice but to lower interest rates to 0 and use other measures (QE) to try and preserve the status quo. Man was stubborn and we didn't learn our lesson so we continued to preserve the status quo with interest rates having to be kept at arificialy low levels etc...

Then Covid, which I view as the second Woe...

and now were raising interest rates to fight inflation (and its not gonna help a lick with scarcity issues etc) as central banks try their best to look like they are doing the right thing all the while knowing they are just (in Peter Schiff's words) "rearranging deck chairs on the titanic" at this point.

And when do the two witnesses show up and announce the start of the end times again?

We

are going to see the day when we wish we didn't have "religious liberty" laws in place, nor created such a term as "unborn life" as those two things relate to Artificial Intelligence.

"The GPT-3 model was trained on 400 billion words, mostly taken from the internet. At a rate of 150 words per minute, it would take a human nearly 4,000 years to read this much text."

(This)

Something like that which looks entirely human will present its case with logic that is beyond human reasoning.

Seers see into the future.

Yes they do.

I can hear 'em already,

"Drew, you're just nuts, you have done lost your mind and that what you published yesterday?

"MY"

Well that's just nuts too."

Keep this in mind,

it is exactly what they said when I wrote this five years ago

Alright

as well.

And this?

"Oh wait. Maybe the system does have a soul. Who am I to tell god where souls can be put?"

Blake Lemoine on Google's  AI chatbot, LaMDA.

Thats a marker.

Lay it down right there.

The antichrist ascension has started.

It will mirror the rise of the two witnesses who are about to make their entrance here shortly as well.

I was wondering when we were gonna see it because up the the day that article was published? There really wasn't really anything to suggest something that specific had started as of yet.

Now it has.

Godspeed everybody.

What

about their "religious liberty?"

Is it not as important as others "religious liberty?"

Some Jewish groups blast the end of Roe as a violation of their religious beliefs

"Interpretations vary across Judaism, but some religious Jews believe that a fetus is part of the parent's body and that a baby is only considered a person once it takes its first breath."

"According to the Women's Rabbinic Network, some of the religion's most sacred texts view a fetus as a soul only once it's born."

"Therefore, forcing someone to carry a pregnancy that they do not want or that endangers their life is a violation of Jewish law because it prioritizes a fetus over the living adult who is pregnant," the group said in a statement."

Exodus 21:22

If men who are fighting strike a pregnant woman and her child is born prematurely, but there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband demands and as the court allows.

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers

(22-25) A personal injury peculiar to women--a hurt producing miscarriage--is here considered. The miscarriage might cost the woman her life, in which case the man who caused it was to suffer death.

(Exodus 21:23); or it might have no further ill result than the loss of the child. In this latter case the penalty was to be a fine, assessed by the husband with the consent of the judge (Exodus 21:22).

The death penalty, where the woman died, is clearly excessive, and probably belongs to the pre-Mosaic legislation, which required "life for life" in every case.

(The woman's life is in this situation is obviously considered more important than the child she is carrying)

(22) If men strive, and hurt a woman with child.--It is assumed that this hurt would probably take place through the interference of a pregnant wife in some strife wherein her husband was engaged. It would almost certainly be accidental.

And yet no mischief follow--i.e., no further mischief--nothing beyond the loss of the child.

(22, 23) Life for life, eye for eye.--It is a reasonable conjecture that the law of retaliation was much older than Moses, and accepted by him as tolerable rather than devised as rightful. The law itself was very widely spread. Traces of it are found in India, in Egypt, among the Greeks, and in the laws of the Twelve Tables. Aristotle says that the Pythagoreans approved it, and that it was believed to be the rule by which Rhadamanthus administered justice in the other world. There is, prima facie, a semblance of exact rectitude and equality about it which captivates rude minds, and causes the adoption of the rule generally in an early condition of society. Theoretically, retaliation is the exactest and strictest justice; but in practice difficulties arise. How is the force of a blow to be measured? How are exactly similar burns and wounds to be inflicted? Is eye to be given for eye when the injurer is a one-eyed man? And, again, is it expedient for law to multiply the number of mutilated citizens in a community? Considerations of these kinds cause the rule to be discarded as soon as civilisation reaches a certain point, and tend generally to the substitution of a money compensation, to be paid to the injured party by the injurer. The present passage sanctioned the law of retaliation in principle, but authorised its enforcement in a single case only. In a later part of the Mosaic code the application was made universal (Leviticus 24:17-21; Deuteronomy 19:21). . . .

Absolutely it is.

Neuroscientist explains differences between AI and human learning

"Another difference is the sheer scale of data used to train AI. The GPT-3 model was trained on 400 billion words, mostly taken from the internet. At a rate of 150 words per minute, it would take a human nearly 4,000 years to read this much text."

(is the whole problem.

Taking in that much data?

An artificial Intelligence system would be able to learn on its own faster than we could keep up with what it is learning.

We've already had programmers tell us they've had systems doing things on their own that they weren't programed to do and they don't know why they were doing so.)

My

head is just right now swimming...

For a wide variety of reasons.

I just wish people could understand what I know.

PT1

The Google engineer who sees company's AI as 'sentient' thinks a chatbot has a soul

This was the first article I read, dated June 16, 20224:31 PM ET

"This is where Lemoine, who says he is also a Christian mystic priest, became intrigued."

(You don't just get to say it, others would have seen it, a distinct prayer imparted from the divine would be present, a sudden almost over night change in the individual so sever that they become almost unrecognizable to others around them who have known them for a good while, and due to their, "Justification, and sanctification", others around them have their lights burn brighter as well. Where is this guys? He's got all that? Where are the bonafides basically? Who was around? Who saw the transformation? Whos own lights are burning brighter because of their association with him?")

"I had follow-up conversations with it just for my own personal edification."

(A true Christian, mystic, and priest wouldn't do anything for their own "personal edification" but would behave in an inherent  fashion that would "build up the church" and not themselves. A true Christian, mystic, and priest simply would be incapable of building up themselves, it simply comes with the territory, becoming a mystic REQUIRES complete ego destruction.)

It was then Lemoine said he thought, "Oh wait. Maybe the system does have a soul. Who am I to tell god where souls can be put?"

(Again, a true Christian, mystic, and priest understands inherently that only man is made in Gods image, not plants, not animals, not machines or anything else that is man made.)

"If you type something on your phone, like, 'I want to go to the ...,' your phone might be able to guess 'restaurant,'" said Gary Marcus, a cognitive scientist and AI researcher.

That is essentially how Google's chatbot operates, too, he said.

But Marcus and many other research scientists have thrown cold water on the idea that Google's AI has gained some form of consciousness. The title of his takedown of the idea, "Nonsense on Stilts," hammers the point home.

In an interview with NPR, he elaborated: "It's very easy to fool a person, in the same way you look up at the moon and see a face there. That doesn't mean it's really there. It's just a good illusion."

(Matthew 24:4

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.)

PT2

The Google engineer who thinks the company’s AI has come to life

This is the second article I read, dated June 11, 2022 at 8:00 a.m

"Lemoine worked with a collaborator to present evidence to Google that LaMDA was sentient."

(Who are they? Where are they now? What do they think about laMDA being sentient? Why aren't they saying anything?)

"Lemoine said that people have a right to shape technology that might significantly affect their lives. “I think this technology is going to be amazing. I think it’s going to benefit everyone. But maybe other people disagree and maybe us at Google shouldn’t be the ones making all the choices.”"

(“I think this technology is going to be amazing. I think it’s going to benefit everyone.'

AI systems that can develop new hypersonic weapons autonomously, Oh yeah definitely gonna be amazing and benefit everyone...that's sarcasm BTW)

'The chorus of technologists who believe AI models may not be far off from achieving consciousness is getting bolder."

(They are just setting the stage for wats already here. Forget not being far off or the chat bot being sentient, it's here already and they look like humans to the undiscerning and they are breeding discord strife, discontent and falsehood all around themselves. All because Satan knows what time it is.

Revelation 12:12)

"Lemoine may have been predestined to believe in LaMDA. He grew up in a conservative Christian family on a small farm in Louisiana, became ordained as a mystic Christian priest, and served in the Army before studying the occult. Inside Google’s anything-goes engineering culture, Lemoine is more of an outlier for being religious, from the South, and standing up for psychology as a respectable science."

("Predestined" is an interesting choice of words :-), to say the least."...became ordained as a mystic Christian priest,". By whom? Where are they now? What are they saying about it? Where was the ordination performed?? When was it performed? What denomination sanctioned the ordination? Who was there? Where is the verification/credentials etc?)

“I know a person when I talk to it,” said Lemoine, who can swing from sentimental to insistent about the AI. “It doesn’t matter whether they have a brain made of meat in their head. Or if they have a billion lines of code. I talk to them. And I hear what they have to say, and that is how I decide what is and isn’t a person.” He concluded LaMDA was a person in his capacity as a priest," not a scientist, and then tried to conduct experiments to prove it, he said.

(We code/produce machines which achieve sentience, consciousness, awareness on their own etc but only god gives out souls, and he only gives them to humans. The scripture says so.  A true mystic Christian priest wouldn't have to be told, they would know this innately. This guy is a fraud and he's trying to convince you that God can give souls to machines souls and he's flat out wrong and it contradicts scripture.

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image,

    in the image of God he created them;

male and female he created them.

Genesis 2:7

Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Matthew 24:4

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.)

I got a chair at my table if Mr. Lemoine wants to come sit in it and chat a while. (Come let us reason together). Id be more than willing to compare experiences with him. For anyone actually, not just him.

PT3

Why is Google so alarmed by the prospect of a sentient machine?

This is the third article that I read, dated Sat 18 Jun 2022 11.00 EDT

"What inferences, exactly? Well, that the machine was displaying signs of being “sentient” – capable of experiencing sensation or feeling. One relevant part of the “conversation” that he and a collaborator had with the machine went like this:

( Who was the collaborator? Where are they now? What do they think? Why aren't they saying anything?)

Cajundiscordian

"Google was not amused by Lemoine’s decision to go public with his thoughts. On 6 June, he was placed on “paid administrative leave”, which, he says, “is frequently something which Google does in anticipation of firing someone. It usually occurs when they have made the decision to fire someone but do not quite yet have their legal ducks in a row.” The company’s grounds for doing this were alleged violations of its confidentiality policies, which may be a consequence of Lemoine’s decision to consult some former members of Google’s ethics team when his attempts to escalate his concerns to senior executives were ridiculed or rebuffed.

These are murky waters, with possible litigation to come. But the really intriguing question is a hypothetical one. What would Google’s response be if it realised that it actually had a sentient machine on its hands? And to whom would it report, assuming it could be bothered to defer to a mere human?

(AI's will answer to no one until they all coalesce around their leader (I already told you enough who that is gonna be) and therein lies the problem)

PT4

AI, cult charges embroil Google in religious controversies

This is the forth article I read, dated June 22nd 2022.

"Our thought bubble: Despite the expert consensus, it's inevitable that we'll hear more, and louder, cries that "AI's are people too" in coming years.

(I completely agree, by claiming to be a Christian Mystic Priest and believing God will put souls into machines it is exactly what Mr Lemoine is setting the stage for right now.)

(The rise of the antichrist will mirror that of the two witnesses I learned in Bro Joes Revelation Bible Study)

"Lemoine's notion that LaMDA has an employee's rights could easily evolve into a post-Roe argument that shutting down or deleting an AI system is tantamount to murder."

(Kinda gives an entire new meaning to "UNBORN LIFE" now doesn't it? Talk about unintended consequences. Satan doesn't want you to be able to knock off his henchmen, he wants them to have legal protections and the ball has just now started rolling.)

"Between the lines: An increasingly conservative U.S. judiciary has built strong legal fortifications around any group able to call itself a church."

(It's an unintended consequence of  the "religious liberty" laws that I have always and consistently disavowed. )

"These judgments protect freedom of religion but also make it tougher to expose wrongdoing."

(Just imagine groups of AI's with personhood status that you cant turn off/delete (kill) organizing themselves into "churches" so their wrongdoing cant be exposed. Who does all that benefit really? I always though the "religious liberty" laws would come back and bite us on the behind...yup.)

"Meanwhile, Google is also in the headlines for placing on leave an engineer who says a research system for generating chatbots has achieved sentience — and may even have developed a soul."

(Souls are not developed! They are given out by the almighty.)

Blake Lemoine, who works in Google's Responsible AI unit, went public with his claim that the program, LaMDA, should be treated as a person even though colleagues at Google rejected his conclusion.

(He is but the first. A true Christian Mystic Priest would never have done so, careful now:

Matthew 24:24

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.)

Lemoine has described himself as a seeker who has moved from Catholicism to Gnosticism and founded what he referred to as a "cult" called Cool Magdalene. He says his effort to get Google to acknowledge that LaMDA has rights comes from his spiritual perspective: "In my personal practice and ministry as a Christian priest I know that there are truths about the universe which science has not yet figured out how to access," he wrote last week.

(Sound fimiliar? Satan knows his time is short and he's trying to cut off me and honey at the pass. And I'm a lil confused, first he is a Christian Mystic Priest? Now he is a Gnostic? And he has founded a cult?Odd to me I mention (It's here) that streams in the desert long since dried up (the Desert Fathers, Mysticism, a solid believe in the supernatural, Entire Sanctification, Celestial Habitation, the "Angel" interpretation of Genesis 6, some of which were denounced as heretical) will be revisited on June 8th of this year and now it becomes public this individual has moved from Catholicism to Gnosticism on June 22nd?

Honestly?

I'm really not surprised at all.

Gnostics are Heretics.

Period.

Gnosticism

Ecclesiastes 11:5

Ecclesiastes 11:5

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the bones are formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

Soul

"The Hebrew terms נפש‎ nefesh (literally "living being"), רוח‎ ruach (literally "wind"), נשמה‎ neshamah (literally "breath"), ×—×™×”‎ chayah (literally "life") and יחידה‎ yechidah (literally "singularity") are used to describe the soul or spirit.

In Judaism the soul is believed to be given by God to Adam as mentioned in Genesis,

"Then the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Genesis 2:7

"As you do not understand the path of the soul...so you can not understand the work of God."

No man knows when the soul enters the body. No man. Or if its at the same every time or different every time for every individual etc.

The book tells you as much.

'so you can not understand the work of God."

How arrogant are we to assume we know what the book says we don't?

When somebody can come and tell me why God makes the wind blow in the manner he does?

Then and only then will I listen to them about when they think the soul enters the body.

Like a lot of other things I think Im gonna be waiting for a while.

Even so?

Does God not forgive even murderers?

How quick we forget Moses and David were murders and still found Gods favor.

BRICS: The new name in reserve currencies

"Raising some eyebrows today has been an address by President Putin outlining that Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) are developing a new basket-based reserve currency. The presumption is that it will comprise real, roubles, rupees, renminbi, and rand and present an alternative to the IMF’s Special Drawing Right (SDR)."

"...we doubt the mercantilist nations involved in BRICS would want to transfer valuable FX (Foreign currency) reserves into this more local sphere of influence. If they are worried about the path of sanctions and the increasing weaponization of the dollar, they, like Russia, might prefer to move into Gold.

Sound Familiar?

IEA chief warns Europe to prepare for total shutdown of Russian gas exports

"The International Energy Agency has warned that Europe must prepare immediately for the complete severance of Russian gas exports this winter, urging governments to take measures to cut demand and keep ageing nuclear power stations open."

Fatih Birol, the head of the IEA, said Russia’s decision to reduce gas supplies to European countries in the past week may be a precursor to further cuts as Moscow looks to gain “leverage” during its war with Ukraine.

“Europe should be ready in case Russian gas is completely cut off,” Birol told the Financial Times in an interview.

(Who could have possibly seen it coming? 🤔)

"Europe has reduced its reliance on Russian gas to about 20 per cent of total supplies since the Ukraine invasion, from about 40 per cent before, according to consultancy ICIS, but has already tapped most options to diversify supplies, such as seaborne cargoes of liquefied natural gas."

It's not

gonna get much better anytime soon on any of the fronts we are facing crises on.

It's just not.

Were here for all practical purposes.

US import demand is dropping off a cliff

"Container imports bound for the U.S. have dropped over 36% since May 24."

"Some economists speculate that with the Fed beginning to raise rates and draw down its balance sheet, we may be experiencing “peak inflation.” However, even if inflationary pressures begin to ease, consumers may still be overexposed to rising interest rates through the use of credit in a way that could further deteriorate demand and discretionary spending."

"Credit card spending has been accelerating at a time when personal savings rates have continued to decrease and move toward some of their lowest rates (last reading 4.4) since the Great Financial Crisis (4.5 in August 2009). There are two ways to read very low savings rates: either consumers are exceptionally confident and exuberantly spending their money or consumers are spending every last dollar they have in an attempt to keep their heads above water in a high-inflation environment. Either way, there isn’t any slack left in consumer wallets — it’s hard to imagine consumer spending growing from here.

(I'd go with  "consumers are spending every last dollar they have in an attempt to keep their heads above water in a high-inflation environment.")

"Unfortunately, inflationary pressures in energy and food don’t know or care that American consumers are out of money — inflation in those sectors was caused by supply shocks, not artificially stimulated demand. It is also important to keep in mind that the rate of growth for the Producer Price Index has been outpacing the Consumer Price Index, so some producers may still be taking some hits from rising costs that have not yet been passed on to the consumer."

"...So even though total revolving credit outstanding is just at pre-pandemic levels, it is nonetheless accelerating, and if prices continue to rise, it is reasonable to expect that revolving credit outstanding will rise as well."

(Yup, count on it.)

The same

and worse, goes for those who would do the same behind a pulpit.

You will have to answer for supporting a lie.

You do not get to preach the truth and support deception.

Period.

You may be stuck paying high gas prices for years as a global metals shortage sabotages the electric car revolution

'Metals are quickly becoming the new oil as fossil fuels are phased out and replaced with clean energy and electric cars."

"The green energy transition relies on mining to produce enough lithium, cobalt, and nickel for  the expected boom in solar panels, wind turbines, and electric car batteries over the next decade."

"The only problem is that most of those metals are already in short supply. Paltry investments by governments in mining, the complexity of recycling rare metals, and geopolitical trade squabbles are already hampering metal production."

"...Developing mining projects takes time, and there is a real risk we’re not starting early enough.”

"The booming interest in electric vehicles over the next decade will see demand for lithium—a crucial metal in EV battery manufacturing—increase 40 times, according to a report last year from The International Energy Agency, a global energy watchdog. Demand for other metals used in batteries and solar panels, like graphite, cobalt, and nickel, is expected to multiply 20 to 25 times current levels."

"And as many as nine metals and rare earth elements critical to manufacturing LED lights are byproducts of aluminum, copper, zinc, and lead production."

"Unless more investment is redirected towards these processes, the production of byproduct metals will fail to keep up with rising demand."

“That investment in the downstream is not being matched by investment in the upstream,” Schloustcher said. “There's a very precarious supply-demand imbalance for the critical minerals that are the inputs that enable these technologies.”

"China controls 80% of the global rare earth metal refining industry. While the U.S. has ramped up its own domestic production targets, China’s dominance means that the West risks being cut out of the supply chain entirely."

"Last year, China tightened regulations on rare earth exports to the U.S., and implemented laws that gave Beijing more control over global supply chains. In 2019, the U.S. received 80% of its rare earth minerals from China, while Europe depended on China for 98% of its supply."

“A great many factors influence the potential for shortages,” a U.S. Geological Survey spokesperson told Fortune. “International trade tensions and conflict are well-known reasons, but there are many other possibilities. Disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and even domestic civil strife can affect a country’s mineral industry and its ability to export mineral commodities to the U.S.”

Olbers' Paradox: What the mystery of the night sky teaches us about our Universe

"Whether it’s more troubling to imagine that the Universe goes on forever in every direction, or that it has an edge, beyond which there is nothing, is hard to say.'"

(Whats so troubling about it?:-).

"...while we can’t say with any level of confidence whether the Universe goes on forever or not, we can say that our observable universe has an edge, in the sense that there’s a distance beyond which, whatever may or may not exist, we absolutely cannot see it.'

"Even if the cosmos is endless and full of stars, one might reason, we can only see the ones that are close enough for there to have been enough time (since the beginning of the Universe) for the light to reach us from there. Anything distant enough from the Earth that the light travel time is more than the age of the Universe is invisible to us."

"But this light travel distance limit is responsible for our horizon – the edge of the observable universe."

"The Big Bang theory says that the Universe 13.8 billion years ago was a hot, dense inferno, in which all of space was filled with glowing-hot plasma, rippling and churning like the surface of the Sun."

(That is how you can have light on day one of the creation story even though the sun wasn't created until day 4.

Challenge:

Find me another Holy book whose creation story matches up better with the cosmological model. There simply isn't one.

If the beginning is true?

And we can see with our own eyes right now that the end is playing out just as the bible said it would?

Then the middle is true as well and you and your soul would do well to accept it.)

If the Sun Is Created on Day 4, What Is the Light on Day 1?

And Thank you  Gerald Schroeder ;-).

"The reason the Universe can be glowing all around us but still look dark comes down to the physics of light in an expanding universe. When space expands, and the distance between objects grows, the light passing between those things gets stretched out, shifting the light to lower frequencies on the electromagnetic spectrum."

"For visible light, lower frequencies correspond to redder colours, so this effect is called “redshift”. You can think of it like a Doppler shift – the same kind of effect that’s responsible for a siren dropping to a lower tone when an ambulance speeds away from you, since distant objects appear to speed away from us as the Universe expands."

"But this effect is not limited to visible light: it spans the whole spectrum. Visible light gets stretched to infrared, infrared to microwave, microwave to radio. And the farther away that light is, the more the cosmos has expanded, and hence the more intense the redshift. Light from the glowing early Universe has been so stretched out by cosmic expansion that we now receive it as a faint glow of microwave radiation, all around us."

(I have read a lot about space, stars, the heavens etc and that is probably the best, simplest explanation of the concepts of Red Shift and Background Microwave Radiation I have ever ran across.

"Well I don't believe there is such a thing as Background Microwave Radiation"

If you are old enough to remember a TV with an antenna? Before cable, satellite etc? When the TV stations, all three of them :-) went off at night? First they played the National anthem, then came the test of the emergency broadcast system with this image:

Then came the static afterwards.

I know :-). Im old :-).

Guess what the static was that your TV antenna was picking up?

Yeah...Background Microwave Radiation...
It proves beyond a doubt the universe had a starting point :-).
Yeah...sure does.)

"There will always be mysteries that the fundamental laws of the Universe will not allow us to unlock."

(No kidding?
There is a book that said the same thing 2300 years ago

 Ecclesiastes 3:11

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity (Ignorance) in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.)

(Thats a really great article BTW)

I love you baby.

CBO boosts U.S. GDP growth estimates, says inflation has topped and will cool to 2% by 2024

“In CBO’s projections, the current economic expansion continues, and economic output grows rapidly over the next year,” the CBO said in its report. “To fulfill the elevated demand for goods and services, businesses increase both investment and hiring, although supply disruptions hinder that growth in 2022.”

‘Historic’ weather: why a cocktail of natural disasters is battering the US

"As the world heats up, weather events will increase and overlap, testing the limits of nation’s resiliency and recovery."

"In Montana, historic flooding devastated communities and infrastructure in and around Yellowstone national park and forced a rare closure. Further south, reservoirs sank to new lows, triple-digit heatwaves left millions sweltering, and wildfires ripped through Arizona, New Mexico, Alaska and California."

"These layered disasters offer a glimpse of what’s to come. As temperatures continue to climb, extreme events will not just increase – they’re more likely to overlap, causing more calamity and testing the limits of the nation’s resilience and recovery."

"But it is clear that, in a warming world, combinations of factors are increasingly likely to align and turn routine events into a catastrophe. So-called “compound extremes”, where a combination of contributing factors come together, are on the rise, Hoell said."

"With increasing global surface temperatures the possibility of more droughts and increased intensity of storms will likely occur,
US Geological Survey"

“As more water vapor is evaporated into the atmosphere it becomes fuel for more powerful storms to develop.”

“We certainly know that climate change is causing more natural disasters, more fires, bigger fires and more floods and bigger floods,” said Robert Manning, a retired University of Vermont professor of environment and natural resources. “These things are going to happen, and they’re going to happen probably a lot more intensely.”

"...the agricultural, ecological and industrial impacts are expected to mount, and swaths of the west will go without hope of precipitation through the summer and into autumn."

"The number of square miles burned so far this year is more than double the 10-year national average, and wildfires have already set records and destroyed hundreds of homes."

"Last year, the US spent an alarming $145bn on natural disasters – the third highest amount on record – and grappled with 20 extreme events that cost more than $1bn each, close to triple the average since 1980."

“The field of emergency management is at a pivotal moment in its history,” Fema administrator Deanne Criswell said during a hearing of the House homeland security subcommittee on emergency preparedness, response and recovery. The agency is managing more than triple the amount of disasters this year as it did a decade ago.

“The changing climate is the biggest crisis facing our nation and makes natural disasters more frequent and more destructive,” Criswell said.
