Isaiah 48:10-11

Isaiah 48:10-11 

See, I have refined you, though not as silver;

    I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this.

    How can I let myself be defamed?

    I will not yield my glory to another.

Did I cause some of it myself?

Sure.

But a large part of what Ive been through the last few years has been testing.

Cause what I've been through is nothing compared to whats coming here soon.

Never once did I turn away from my God.

Every day.

Even my worst of days, 

everyday, I gave thanks always.

Prayed for others.

Asked for nothing in return.

Always, always thankful, everyday.

For the roof over my head, the clothes on my back, the food in my belly.
