Hey

Wait a minute.

Matthew 24: 36

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

(the verse speaks directly to Christ return.)

So how do reconcile that verse with the concept of the Trinity?

Well?

So glad you asked :-).

Philippians 2:6-8

Who, being in very nature God,
    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
    being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
        even death on a cross!

And thank you my Jehovah Witness buddy from the fair for pointing me in this direction so that now I can share with all and thanks to the website gotquestions.org for such a great easy to understand explanation.

(It was really the only thing he tripped me up on and didn't have an answer readily available for but I knew his assertion that the Holy Spirit didn't have a "personality" and therefore not a part of the trinity was way off the mark.

I dont always agree with all of their explanations on the website gotquestions.org,  but I have found it a valuable place to start looking for more information on many topics, and? This verse just happened to be in Pastor Bridgette's sermon last Sunday so...there ya go...

We just really need to understand our faith more fully and :

"...Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"
1 Peter 3:15, BTW)

If we cant explain what we believe in and why?
Then why should others believe us?
