Found some more notes in my recycle bin...Yup...

Told ya its a jumbeled up mess just like me :-).

Just glad I found them.

THE JUDGMENT

(Methodist Hymnal 1969)

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were writ- ten in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

-Revelation 20:11-15.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. -Matthew 13:40-43.

Matthew 24: 29-30

The Coming of the Son of Man

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

First thing he does is fight/destroy evil.

Why do you not want to be with him?

Zechariah 14:1-4

The Day of the Lord

14 Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst.2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.3 Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.

Whats the very second thing he does?

Mathew 25:31-34

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Revelation 21 1-4

A New Heaven and a New Earth

1 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

“The majority of dispensationalists profess a pretribulation rapture, while mid-tribulation, or post- tribulation rapture are minority views. Pre-tribulational rapture doctrine is what separates dispensationalism from other forms of premillennialism and other millennial views…

Historic premillennialism is one of the two premillennial systems of Christian eschatology, with the other being dispensational premillennialism. It differs from dispensational premillennialism in that: it only has one view of the rapture, and does not require a literal seven-year tribulation (though some adherents do believe in a seven-year tribulation). Historic premillennialists hold to a post-tribulational rapture, meaning the church is raised to meet Christ in the air after the trials experienced during the Great Tribulation. Historic premillennialism does not require that apocalyptic prophecies be interpreted literally. The doctrine is called "historic" because many early church fathers appear to have held it, (Dispensational premillennialism didn’t come into being until mid nineteenth century, 1850’s, so the people not all that far removed from events? Or people almost 2000 years later? Which ones you think got a better shot at getting it right?) including Irenaeus, Justin Martyr, and Papias. Post-tribulational premillennialism is the Christian eschatological view that the second coming of Jesus Christ will occur prior to a thousand-year reign of the saints but subsequent to the Great Apostasy (and to any tribulation).

”The necessity of the rapture (pre tribulation) is that, with the Church and Israel being distinct, the Church must be removed before remnant Israel can be gathered.

Bass, Clarence B. Bass (2005-02-03).

Backgrounds to Dispensationalism: Its Historical Genesis and Ecclesiastical Implications.

Entire time, reading, going down rabbit hole etc…Israel was imparted to me as being “The true believers”, not the political or geographical entity we commonly think of. “The church must be removed” Ever considered It’s not raptured, it has been destroyed? (Or fell asleep? What other arguments do me make from absence?) And that’s why it is absent in the book of Revelation from Revelation 3:22 to Revelation 20:16?.…Since 325, Council of Nicaea, called by a Roman Dictator Constantine, the Church has been polluted, corrupted and politicized.

Matthew 24:22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

Matthew 24:31“And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Thessalonians 4:13–18

The Coming of the Lord

13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,4 that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15:50–54

Mystery and Victory

50 I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:“Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Nowhere does it ever say when! If you are taking it literally? Why are you interjecting the when? IT’s not there!…Christ himself in Matthew 24 didn’t split the rapture from his second coming…Longest discourse…think he might have mentioned it…Hes god in the flesh…seems like a pretty big detail to leave out if you ask me.

Questions for the Pretribulationist:

Where exactly do yall go if raptured pretribulation? If Christ is on earth fighting evil? Who, exactly takes you? How long do you stay wherever it is that you go to? Who brings you back to earth where he is ruling from? In his literal thrown (Davids) in his literal temple in Jerusalem)?

If Christ is on earth, establishing his kingdom, judging nations and a new heaven and a new earth and a new Jerusalem are going to be be established? And god comes to dwell with his people in his kingdom? Why exactly do you want to be “snatched up” (against your will mind you) out of it?

There is a real simple answer, you don’t wanna be taken away:

Matthew 13:41

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,

That’s who gets snatched out. It was the view of the early church fathers. Its what I was taught in bible school 50 years ago at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church in Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY). It’s what is in that Methodist Hymnal from 1969.

You might want to ask yourself, why has so much changed in the western church in such a short time, last 50 years?

Theres an Easy answer: Revelation 12:12

Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”

Rastafari

Political and religious movement.

Rastafari, also spelled Ras Tafari, religious and political movement, begun in Jamaica in the 1930s and adopted by many groups around the globe, that combines Protestant Christianity, mysticism, and a pan-African political consciousness.

Rastas, as members of the movement are called, see their past, present, and future in a distinct way. Drawing from Old Testament stories, especially that of Exodus, they “overstand” (rather than understand) people of African descent in the Americas and around the world to be “exiles in Babylon.” They believe that they are being tested by Jah (God) through slavery and the existence of economic injustice and racial “downpression” (rather than oppression). Looking to the New Testament book of Revelation, Rastas await their deliverance from captivity and their return to Zion, the symbolic name for Africa drawn from the biblical tradition. Ethiopia, the site of a dynastic power,

Flag of the Ethiopian empire. State religion is Chriatianity BTW.

is the ultimate home of all Africans and the seat of Jah, and repatriation is one goal of the movement. Many (though not all) Rastas believe that the Ethiopian emperor, His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, crowned in 1930, is the Second Coming of Christ who returned to redeem all Black people. The movement takes its name from the emperor’s precoronation name, Ras Tafari. (He wasn’t but He was a member of the Solomonic dynasty, which claims to trace lineage to Emperor Menelik I, believed to be the son of King Solomon and Makeda the Queen of Sheba. He was the end of the Davidic lineage here on earth.)

Jamaican Rastas are descendants of African slaves who were converted to Christianity in Jamaica by missionaries using the text of the King James Version of the Bible. Rastas maintain that the King James Version is a corrupted account of the true word of God, since English slave owners promoted incorrect readings of the Bible in order to better control slaves. Rastas believe that they can come to know the true meanings of biblical scriptures by cultivating a mystical consciousness of oneself with Jah, called “I-and-I.” Rastas read the Bible selectively, however, (American evangelicals don’t? “I knew you before you were born” Predestination? Nope etc…) emphasizing passages from Leviticus that admonish the cutting of hair and beard and the eating of certain foods and that prescribe rituals of prayer and meditation. Based on their reading of the Old Testament, many Rasta men uphold patriarchal values, and the movement is often charged with sexism by both insiders and outsiders. “Iyaric,” or “Dread-talk,” is the linguistic style of many Rastas, who substitute the sound of “I” for certain syllables.

Rastafari “livity,” or the principle of balanced lifestyle, includes the wearing of long hair locked in its natural, uncombed state, dressing in the colours of red, green, gold, and black (which symbolize the life force of blood, herbs, royalty, and Africanness), and eating an “I-tal” (natural, vegetarian) diet. Religious rituals include prayer services, the smoking of ganja (marijuana) to achieve better “itation” (meditation) with Jah, and “bingis” (all-night drumming ceremonies). Reggae music grew out of the Rastafari movement and was made popular throughout the world by the Jamaican singer and songwriter Bob Marley.

“We all see ourselves in the bible” Pastor Bridgette has said  and I agree. Rastas no different.

How is that much different than the Myth American evangelicals have bought into that:

1) The founding fathers were all Christian? They weren’t, there were deist, agnostics and atheist among them.

2) That the pilgrims saw the Atlantic as their “red Sea” in their version exodus story?

3) That they viewed this nation as the promise land and themselves as a people “chosen” by God?

4) Founded on Biblical principles. Racism? Economic exploitation? Salvery? Genocide? Inequality?

5) “All men are created equal” All white men with property is what they really meant. Greatest one of all…The myth of white supremacy.

6) Greatest nation that ever was.  Greatest military and economic power ever. Wanna take a guess at who else said that through the years?

What I am saying is this: The myth that you have bought into, isn’t all that different than the ones the Rastas did. Put a Dreadlocked rasta speaking in a thick Jamaican accent in front of you explaining his myth and you’ll think well that’s just some made up bullshit.

But if its an equally made up myth that just happens to do with white people dressing who wore funny clothes crossing an ocean to come to the “promise land” to be gods chosen people? Then you’ll buy into it hook line and sinker. Your myth is just as much BS to the Rasta as his is to you. The whole reason is it’s because it’s your myth you bought into.

Combinging protestant mysticism with a hatred of commercialism/materialism…not to mention the meditation aid 😊. It’s not for everybody, stay away if you know its not for you. 19 years old found this in Louisville Ky of all places…Not many white boys in the suburbs of louyisville 40 years ago ever heard of it…Im just sayin, maybe there was a reason I was…

Every Kingdom falls except one. Why did you think this one was so different? Where do you see the US in the bible? Here’s the conclusion I reached years ago, The US isn’t in it…were an afterthought…maybe Daniel 2:42-43, feet of clay and Iron, part strong part brittle, that’s about it, maybe Revelation 7:1 four angels holding back four winds…were just not in Daniel or Revelation. So much for being a “chosen” nation” Came to this conclusion years ago during my own intense bible readings, independent of anybody, told my friend the other day this very thing…then that very day I come across this: Lindsey (Hal) wrote (in his book) “The late great planet earth” that he had concluded, since there was no apparent mention of America in the books of Daniel or Revelation, that America would not be a major geopolitical power by the time the tribulations of the end times arrived. He found little in the Bible that could represent the U.S., but he suggested that Ezekiel 38:13 could be speaking of the U.S. in part. And if you think I’m just backdating things then plz come and explain  inflation, AI generated humanoids etc, two woes explanation, Rev 20:4-6 interpretation etc…

“Global bank/ IMG” Meant World bank…

Percentage of countries with High risk or debt distress, I think I said 20%. Its was 40% pre-pandemic, its 60% today, so it was an increase of 20%, not 20%.

Grace, Road to Salvation after accepting Christ, man that’s hard etc… Open to all Who 1) Acknowledge and accept it, 2) Have faith in it 3) That repent 4) Try to Live a holy (set apart/different) a life as they can, and 5) you have to figure out/know his will for your life and then you have to do it.

Yeah it is hard, always remember:

Matthew 7:13-14

The Narrow and Wide Gates

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Amazing Grace (meant to include)

How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed

You have to believe it first.

AI/synthetic humans etc…

Increasing exponentially. Like salmonella etc…lol

Niger situation

The US can't use its $110 million drone base in Niger.

The United States spent $110 million to build a drone base in Niger.

One of the first things the Coup leaders did was to shut down the air-space. Now we can no longer monitor Islamic jihadist in the Sahel region. Mali had a coup and the French left. And? Just for good measure? One of the Coup leaders was…trained by US special forces.

Multiple Countries Investigating Sam Altman’s Eye-Scanning Orb.

Germany announced Friday that it has been quietly investigating Worldcoin, a new iris-scanning cryptocurrency venture by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman — which seemingly brings the total number of European investigations into the scheme up to three, signaling what could be a tough regulatory road ahead for the project.

Though it was officially launched last Monday, Worldcoin has for the past two years been scanning irises around the globe into its database, an effort that the company says will connect human identity to individual biometric data and help users confirm that they are humans in the burgeoning age of artificial intelligence.

Revelation 13:16-18

New International Version

16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.[a] That number is 666.

Remember when you thought that was crazy and there just wasn’t anyway? What do you think now?

Revelation 6:15-17

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Analysis: Buildup of American forces in Persian Gulf a new signal of worsening US-Iran conflict AP Aug 1st

“The dispatch of the troop-and-aircraft-carrying USS Bataan to the Gulf, alongside stealth F-35 fighters and other warplanes, comes as America wants to focus on China and Russia.”

“Iran in recent weeks has resumed harassing and seizing ships trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Some 20% of the world’s oil passes through the narrow waterway connecting the Persian Gulf to the wider world.”

“For hard-liners in Tehran’s theocracy, the move projects power to surrounding nations as part of a wave of assaults attributed to Iran since 2019. It also serves as a warning to the U.S. and its allies that the Islamic Republic has the means to retaliate, particularly as American sanctions result in the seizure of ships carrying Iranian crude oil.

For the U.S., keeping the Strait of Hormuz open to shipping remains a priority to ensure global energy prices don’t spike, particularly as Russia’s war on Ukraine pressures markets.

In recent months, the U.S. military has again begun dialing up its Mideast presence. It conducted a Strait of Hormuz patrol with the top U.S., British and French naval commanders in the region on board. In late March, A-10 Thunderbolt II warplanes arrived at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates. The Pentagon ordered F-16 fighters, as well as the destroyer USS Thomas Hudner, to the region. Stealth F-35A Lightning II fighter jets arrived last week.

Now, America will have part of a Marine expeditionary unit in the region for the first time in nearly two years. The deployment of thousands of Marines and sailors consists of both the USS Bataan and the USS Carter Hall, a landing ship.

Those vessels left Norfolk, Virginia, on July 10 on a mission the Pentagon described as being “in response to recent attempts by Iran to threaten the free flow of commerce in the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding waters.” The Bataan passed through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean Sea last week on its way to the Mideast.

Iran also made a point to again show off its Abu Mahdi cruise missile, first unveiled in 2020, which could be used to targets ships at sea up to 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) away. (That’s stand off distance BTW, they didn’t need to spend 13 billion each on a hunk of steel that represents warfare tactics from 80 years ago, They just all developed missile with stand off ranges to keep us at bay…wanna argue about a wedding cake some more? We are not deterring anybody from anything these days. Not Russia in Ukraine, Not China in the South China sea, Not Iran in the Straight of Hormuz.

With diplomacy stalled and Iran willing to be more aggressive at sea, the U.S. appears again to be relying on military might to convince Tehran to dial back.
