Just so everybody understands

 

"...whoever he employs 

to execute his word, 

as the minister of his justice, 

is sure to be made strong 

and par negotio—equal to 

what he undertakes; 

whom God 

gives commission to 

he girds with strength 

for the executing 

of that commission."

It's not just strength.

Its grace 

and mercy 

and forgiveness 

also

that are:

"equal to 

what he undertakes...

...for the executing 

of that commission."

Everybody is getting what they need/deserve.

Nobody's getting any more than they deserve:

"grace and mercy and forgiveness"

So its not playing favorites.

Matthew 7:3-5

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."
