Yes you are...

"When you little scamps get together,

you're worse than a sewing circle"

 Pulp Fiction,

Mia Wallace

(Uma Thurman)

The bible is just chock full

of women of "ill-repute"

for lack of a better word.

(I am just doing broad strokes here today.

This could very easily be expanded

into a multi week Bible study.

And maybe someday it will.

But that is not what were doing today.

Only hitting the surface.)

Thats not new news.

Not in the least.

Tamar, Ruth, Rahab,

Mary

(Christ mom)

The woman at the well.

Mary Magdalene.

Gomer,

(Hosea's wife.

God actually told his prophet Hosea

to go marry a proustite

and father children with her.

Yes he did.)

So All of the above

in one way or another

either were,

or were thought

to have been

by others

such a woman.

We forget

it was a prostitute

that anointed Christ

Luke 7:36-50

and we forget the lesson

that it teaches us:

"recognizing one's sinfulness

leads to greater appreciation

for God's mercy."

You know?

Funny thing about judging others

it keeps your eyes focused

off of:

 "recognizing one's sinfulness"

And thats why people do it.

Cause as long as your focused

on someone else sins?

Then there is no need

to consider your own.

God kinda partial to the lowly

that accept him

and believe on him faithfully

and trust his plans for them

when others

don't or cant see what he is doing.

My favorite female character

in the bible is Rahab.

Far and away

hands down

my favorite.

Joshua 2

Not even close

with any of the others female characters.

Part of that reason

for that

is because of something

few know or ever talk about.

All the spies did in the Rahab story

was save a harlot gentile woman.

Thats it.

Thats all they did.

They didn't get any information

that would help them in the coming battle,

troop positions, tactics, plans, maps, nothing.

All the

two spies

accomplished

was saving

a harlot Gentile woman.

It is foreshadowing

the two witnesses,

saving

the whorish,

apostate Christian church

in the end times.

We are supposed to be

a beautiful bride

(Church)

waiting on our bridegroom

(Christ)

and we have just sold our faith down the river

with any and every worldly thing

that comes along.

All of us.

The two witnesses

come near the end

to save

the apostate whorish

gentile church

from itself.

Mirrors what the spies did w Rahab.

So in a sense,

Rahab had to have been a whore

in order to foreshadow that.

God likes using outcast BTW.

Oh yes he certainly does.

If you think Im way off base

with what I am saying consider:

After Rescue, Rahab and her clan

had to camp outside of

the Israelite camp as foreigners

were not allowed.

(Joshua 6:23)

it mirrors the outside of the temple

being measured

and given to the gentiles

in Revelation 11:2.

The inner court having

already being spoken for.

(Ethiopian Jews who converted to Christianity.

Another "red headed step child" so to speak

you don't hear anything about.)

And the marching around Jericho 7x

mirrors the judgements in Revelation.

Even complete with a pause.

And a long blow of the horns.

Joshua 6:2-17

Its pretty uncanny how that

all matches up with

the judgments,

visions

(7 each

containing another 7)

Long trumpet blast,

pause etc.

in the book of Revelation.

So I got my reasons

(more than I listed here :-)

for having Rahab as my favorite

female character in the bible.

(Thx be to Chuck Missler

Joshua 6, Fall of Jericho

Pastor Chuck Missler

very much worth the time to watch it.

We did so in two parts

and I would recommend that

due to the overload of information

that's provided.

But that's just a side note

to my point here at the end.

Lets consider a few other things.

Everybody knows

or has heard

or can imagine

what Mary,

Jesus mom

went through.

She is young

angel comes tells her what's up,

Holy Spirit impregnates her etc.

The penalty back then

for sex outside of marriage

was death.

So, young woman, angel

Holy Spirt, pregnant

potentially facing death etc.

That we hear a lot about

and rightful so.

But what hardly

anybody ever talks about

let alone teaches about is

what Joseph

went through.

By now you should start to be able to see

where this is headed lol.

He was going to hide her away.

He was having doubts

about what had happened,

till the angel came and told him

it was all true

and to take her as a wife.

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Point is

we all think probably think about

what Mary went through

be we rarely if ever consider

what must have been

going through Josephs head

during that time.

It wasnt easy for him either.

What would you have done?

It will make you think.

And I just love the fact that it calls him

a JUST man.

As in he had been

justified.

(This is pre-marriage BTW

read the scripture above again.)

As in

his slate of sins

had already

been wiped clean

by God Almighty.

Romans 8:33

Who will bring any charge

against those whom

God has chosen?

It is God who justifies.

Not you,

and not your church,

and not your deacons

and not your preacher,

and not your denomination

and not your pope,

and not your patriarch etc.

IT IS GOD ALONE

THAT JUSTIFIES.

PERIOD.

Apparently some people

are just never gonna get it.

So if people wanna bring charges

against against those whose slate

has already been declared clean by God?

Then go right ahead and do it,

and go tell God yourself

that he chose the wrong people,

cause that is exactly

what you are saying

and the same people

doing it right now

would have been doing it

 back then as well.

I may be a lot of things

but telling God he got things wrong

just aint in my repertoire.

That don't end good.

I promise you it don't.

So I stay away from telling God he is wrong

and just accept what is meant to be

even when I have no kinda understanding whatsoever,

what is going on and why.

And?

I do more than that

I tell others about it

so they can avoid avoid the same pitfall.

See above about

it don't end well.

 Isaiah 55:8-9:

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord"

Comprende Kemosabe?

If God wants one of his servants

to marry a woman of "ill-repute"

so he can make his point through them?

Then thats what he will do.

Cause its what he did.

(I love the book of Hosea BTW)

Alright so,

moving on yet again.

Imagine

and this is something hardly anybody ever does.

But imagine your dream life.

What would it be like?

Come tell me about it :-).

In what manner would you be living?

Where would you be?

Who would you be with?

What would you be doing?

Not just for a while,

for the rest of your life.

There is no point

in dreaming a small dream.

None whatsoever.

If its a small dream?

Then its not even a dream.

Most people never even stop

to consider

out of all of the possibilities

what would I would REALLY want?

So out of all the possibilities

there are in all the world

what would be you dream life?

I said years ago,

years.

We are the two witnesses

and we get heaven on earth

for telling you hell is coming.

(and because we never craved those things to start with

as had our sights set on higher things.

Colossians 3:2-10)

And for some other things as well,

Demolishing strongholds

establishing

Christ Last Church etc.

Our heaven for us

is right around the corner.

It is literally right here

right now.

All we are missing

is a few

very tiny pieces

of the puzzle

for every bit of that

to be true.

And then we are all good.

Promise.

Here is the thing.

we don't get the Heaven on earth part right

and then get the hell is coming part wrong.

Not how this works.

If you are seeing

that the heaven in this realm

is coming for us?

(And some are.)

Then you can rest assured

THE HELL IS COMING RIGHT BEHIND.

And the only thing gonna protect you

from Gods wrath?

(You'll get Satan's wrath

that's what purifies you.)

Is your belief in Jesus Christ of Nazareth

as God in the flesh.

EVERYTHING ELSE

is only gonna let you down.

You have exactly

ONE

eternal decision to make.

ONE.

I pray you get it right,

I really do.

The point of all that was:

1 Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen,

nor ear heard,

neither have entered

into the heart of man,

the things which God hath prepared

for them that love him.

(Revelation 12:14

But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle,

that she might fly into the wilderness to her place,

where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time,

from the presence of the serpent.)

In our instance?

it doesn't

just mean heavenly things

like everybody thinks it does.

God is making a point

to give an abundance to the ones

the world thought lowly.

He is making a point

to the ones

that crave the things of this world,

these two didn't crave that

and you see

what I did for them.

He told us

we would have heaven on earth

and now people are starting to see

 that it is true.

GOD ALWAYS

KEEPS HIS PROMISES.

ALWAYS.

Don't take it wrong.

I hate the prosperity gospel.

That above doesn't mean

he is going to do it for you.

It's the end times

(close enough)

and he is choosing

to use the two witnesses

to prove a point to you.

They didn't crave world things

they know what is most important

so I rewarded them

for all to see.

For those that love God?

their reward could very well be

heavenly things,

eternal life

wisdom, knowledge,

discernment, understanding

 etc.

We just happen to get both.

Luxury and comfort

are not sins.

IT"S THE CRAVING THEM

(lust)

THAT DOOMS YOU.

So there is that lol.

So point is.

Themes in the bible repeat

And they are with us right now.

The whores and harlots

and prostitutes'

of long ago,

became our righteous

heroines of today.

Just like God intended.

James 2:25:

"In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?"

Because of their conviction

and their strength

and their courage

of doing what they knew to be

Gods will for their life.

In spite all of the:

"When you little scamps get together,

you're worse than a sewing circle"

going on around them.

Think they didnt know?

What people thought about them?

They knew.

They went ahead and did

Gods will for their life anyway.

Honey sees a lot of herself

in a lot of the female characters in the bible

and I see a lot of myself

in a lot of the male characters.

I read a long time ago

(Its around here somewhere

I just dont wanna

bother looking for it lol.)

they thought the two witnesses

were the male and female

aspects of divinity

powered by the

Holy Spirit in the end times.

I absolutely concur.

100%

Rahab's story

(and a lot of others)

resonates with honey.

Josephs story

(and a lot of others)

resonates with me

as well.

So here is a question

and this whole piece has been

about getting to this point,

and I asked this before

at CBC during bible study

one evening

and I have asked it of others,

question goes like this:

WHAT WOULD BE

YOUR REACTION

IF A MODERN DAY RAHAB

WALKED INTO

YOUR PLACE OF WORSHIP

THIS SUNDAY

(accompanied by Joseph of course :-)

????????????????

Cause you never know.

You might just experience that

someday.

We have so badly forgotten

just how God works.

So God put Me and honey here

to remind you of

a few things.

Food for thought anyway.

Love ya everybody.
