Buick

We went and got the title transferred. When transferring between relatives (step parents and sons and daughters are considered relatives) you do not have to pay the tax to transfer the title. Total cost $21 :-). Tags are still good till next January, (Janet's already paid them till then). Next Jan I will have to pay the tax and then the tags will expire with the truck and the bike in Nov (My birthday) just like always. Anyway, $21, the Buick is mine\ours\his when the time comes.

Truck.

Going to be $3800. Supercharger makes it so. The engine will be a reconditioned Nissan frontier engine that had 80,000 miles on it. It will be exactly like the one it had in it that I got 196,000 miles out of. 2 year 24,000 mile warranty, $100. The garage I am dealing with doesn't mess with engines that have been involved in roll overs, fires, or front end collisions. Place also has six months same as cash :-). Wonderful. So I am pretty sure this is what I am going to do. I'll decide by Thursday and let them know. I'd rather have my truck with a reconditioned Nissan Frontier engine with 80,000 miles on it than have anything else. That truck has become like family. Once it is back up and running? I'm only looking at driving back and forth to Louisville 4 or 5 months a year, 6000-8000 miles. I'll get a lil back on taxes and I'll put that toward the engine. I don't ever plan on getting Joanna's child support but if I do, that will go toward the engine as well, any balance left at the end of six months I'll put on a 0.00% interest card till I can pay it off. That's the plan.
