How about AI runs amok about the same time the water level in lake Meade makes power generation impossible out west while Roe gets overturned and there is domestic unrest on the streets and food and energy prices and inflation keep running out of control and we default on the interest payment on the national debt because we had no choice but to raise interest rates at the same time that Russia/China/any host of nefarious actors shut down the power grid and countries start ditching the dollar as their reserve currency and all 50 statehouses get attacked simultaneously as do the three or 4 main internet providers have their major hubs taken down along with high voltage transmission lines, and key substations and...and... and...and I think your STARTING to understand what's well within the possibility of happening in the not to distant future.

People laughed when I moved into a garage and said "In the not to distant future lots of people are gonna be living like this" I don't think so many are laughing any more.

Not advocating the above by any means, I wish it wasn't possible TBH. But the reality of the situation were in right now says that those events happening in a very short amount of time are a very distinct probability.
