know how I like to spend the last five hours of my three twelve hour shifts over the course of a weekend? Well here's how, me personally, I like to have QA patch go on, yeah, and lets make sure it's the entire freaking landscape. Oh and lets not stop there, oh no no no no no no...lets make sure it's a "historical patch" because we haven't patched the QA Landscape the last three patch cycles, cause, you know, that never causes any problems...and while were at it? Lets make sure the new alerting system isn't sending us alerts for failed hardware: accelerator board batteries, power supplies, cause you know, why in the world would OPS need to know about that? I mean it's only been two and a half months since we started using the thing and yeah, lets just have the HP Server Support Team in India call OPS to inform us of failed hardware, cause you know, that sounds like a good plan.
Now I get to go home an listen to a fifteen year old boy tell me all about a German existential philosopher from well over 100 years ago, that I had personally learned all I wanted to about twenty-five years ago...
with like...
you know...
probably four or five hours sleep...
my life...
lol...
who else?
Love you.
Tired
and just wanna be home.
At least Dave called with some good news :-).
Might just be time for Sponge Bob here real soon.
