So?

what was the end of Habakkuk's prayer to the lord?
What was gonna make things right?

Habakkuk 3:17-19

Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls,

yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places.

I knew of this verse.
Had it highlighted in my bible.
Special to me.
Feel like I've lived by it somewhat at least.

40 years of going to church.
Never heard of this verse.

Went to church one Sunday.
New Chapel UMC.
Brother Joe brought it up in his sermon.

Went to service at Central Baptist that same Sunday.

The evangelist
 that preached that day?

Wanna take a guess at what was in his sermon?

Yep:

Habakkuk 3:17-19

Though the fig tree does not bud
    and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
    and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
    and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
    I will be joyful in God my Savior.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
    he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
    he enables me to tread on the heights.

To many accidents isnt an accident.

It's prayer for our time.

I love you honey.
