They

have been ready to do this from before day one.

They have been preparing for this for years.

"But they just can't afford to shut down (or cut off) their own production, blah, blah, blah...they are going to be hurting their own people...blah , blah. blah..."

They just do not think like we do here, they are willing to suffer long term. Here? A riot breaks out at Golden Coral if they run out of steaks for goodness sakes.

Golden Corral Fight Video Shows Mass Brawl at Bensalem Restaurant Over Steak

The average person in the US is just not used to the concept of people being able to endure such hardship.

This is their "New battle of Leningrad".

Biden says America will ban Russian oil; U.S. says up to 4,000 of Putin’s soldiers have been killed

I love this too, this is great :-).

"Putin just can't win this..."

Few sentences later...

'Man those gas prices these days...and my 401 K sure did just take a hit..."

Putin is already winning, even without winning he's winning. Now you're starting to see what this is all about. Our country is already flipping out and were not even two weeks into this. What do you think it's gonna be like in the middle of the summer with $12 a gallon type gas prices? And maybe some sporadic eclectic grid cyber attacks? (Unreliable electric might as well be no electric BTW). This was a big part of Putin's intentions all along. (As was splitting NATO, everybody that's ready for your sons and daughters to go to die for  Lithuania's freedom these days raise your hand. Exactly.)

As for the ones who buy into the "fierce resistance narrative?'

Ask yourself this:

Who benefits more from the continued upheaval/volatility/chaos in the following areas:

Continued and worsening supply line disruptions?

Energy market?

and Financial markets?

US or Russia?

I was on record of saying that it would be a route, 3-7 days maybe to Kiev. When things were obviously slow going? I said it's only slow going because that's the way Putin wants it to be. They benefit more from a prolonged conflict than we do, period. Reports that Putin was mad/upset about how things were going with his troops? Exactly what he wanted us to think. This is the level of cunning you have to think on to try and match wits with this guy.

OPEC chief says there's 'no capacity in the world' that could replace Russia's 7 million barrels a day in oil supply

"There is no capacity in the world that could replace 7 millions barrels per day," OPEC chief Mohammed Barkindo told reporters at the Ceraweek conference, according to Reuters.

But Germany's leader, Chancellor Olaf Scholz, said Russian energy was "of essential importance" to the daily life of its citizens, as he cautioned against the move."

(Cutting off Russian oil/energy imports)

(There's the beginning(s) of a split in the transatlantic alliance, (NATO), also just as intended.)

"Supplying Europe with energy for heat generation, mobility, electricity supply and industry cannot be secured in any other way at the moment," Scholz said in a statement.

(Nor in any time soon I would add)

The threat of an import ban prompted Russia's deputy prime minister to issue a warning and predict oil prices could surge to $300 a barrel.

"It is absolutely clear that a rejection of Russian oil would lead to catastrophic consequences for the global market," Alexander Novak said on state television Monday.

They have known it for a while and are ready to "hunker down" like you can't imagine and just wait us out. Like I said, we flip out if Golden Coral runs out of steaks, what are we gonna do if gas hits $12 a gallon?

Ya might wanna think about it.

You might wanna start thinking bout where your conscious soul's energy is gonna spend it'seternity as well.
