Trump phone call with Putin

Putin tells Trump Russia

‘will have to respond’ to Ukraine drone attack

Guardian 6/04/25

"US president says phone call with Russian leader

won’t lead to ‘immediate peace’ as Moscow rules out ceasefire."

Saw it late yesterday evening

and was surprised there wasnt any more news around it

than there was.

Woke up this morning?

Same thing, hardly any news about it at all.

That a nuclear power

can have its nuclear Triad attacked

for the first time ever

in a war setting,

and then that nuclear powers leader

has a conversation

with the President of the United States

stating he "has to retaliate"

and it doesn't get any more press than it did?

It ought to concern you.

Everything else in your news

(Besides the US/Israel positions on Iran)

is simply a distraction

from what's coming.

"Donald Trump spoke with Vladimir Putin for more than an hour on Wednesday, but he conceded the talks would not lead “to immediate peace” in Ukraine, and warned that Russia would respond to Ukraine’s successful attacks this week on its airfields."

"The US president,

who repeatedly claimed

he could end the Ukraine war

in 24 hours during his election campaign

did not attempt to discourage

the Russian leader from retaliation

according to his description

of the discussion

on his Truth Social platform.

(That ought to be what's driving the news right there:

"did not attempt to discourage

the Russian leader from retaliation,"

and they got you convinced

that Russiagate

was a hoax?)

"He noted instead that Putin had offered to participate in US talks with Iran about its nuclear programme, which Trump claimed Tehran had been “slowwalking”.

(Were the ones doing the slowwalking yo.)

"...Ukraine’s Volodymyr

Zelenskyy described

Moscow’s peace proposals

presented earlier this week

as nothing more than an

“ultimatum”.

(You are 100% damn straight it is an:

“ultimatum”

They are a nuclear power.

They have said multiple times over

they will

use them.

They have made it clear for decades

on end now

that they saw the

continued western expansion of NATO

as a threat to their existence.

Yup...

 Calling Russia's Attack 'Unprovoked'

Lets US Off the Hook

I meant to point this out yesterday:

Russia's aims with Ukraine

have been accomplished:

they have depleted NATO

weapons stockpiles,

taken out multiple

Patriot Missile defense systems

that were donated to Ukraine,

making the European continent

and thereby its Capitals

 more vulnerable to attack

and fractured

NATO.)

"Zelenskyy said he expected 500 PoWs to be swapped this weekend, but he said that the broader peace proposal put forward by Russia in Istanbul amounted to “an ultimatum from the Russian side to us”.

(Yeah

because it is,

the real war

"The Big One"

is just about here.

"This Ukraine crisis that we're in right now,

this is just the warmup,"

Navy Adm. Charles A. Richard,

commander of Stratcom, said.

"The big one is coming.

And it isn't going to be very long

before we're going to get tested in ways

that we haven't been tested a long time."

DOD

"On Sunday, Ukraine also carried out a remote-controlled mass drone attack on four Russian airfields,

which Kyiv claims

knocked out more than a third

of Moscow’s heavy bombers

capable of firing cruise missiles."

"Ukrainian officials said 41 Russian warplanes, including strategic bombers and other types of combat aircraft, were destroyed or damaged in Sunday’s operation..."

Why?

Does Western Media

still report that as fact?

When two days ago:

"Ukraine's General Staff said in its daily update on June 3 that Russian forces lost 12 aircraft, without elaborating on the types of destroyed planes or whether more had been damaged."

and

"Independent confirmation of the damage caused is so far limited

to satellite images of Belaya air base,..."

Ukrainian strike on Russian bombers alarmed Kremlin over nuclear carriers vulnerability, Bloomberg reports

The Kyiv Independent 6/04/25

I can run across that article

but The Guardian cant?

Some "Guardian" that is.)

"Satellite photos analysed and published by the Associated Press showed aircraft wreckage and scorched areas at Belaya base, one of the four airfields targeted."

(That is still the only airbase with confirmation from.)

"It said the images showed at least three Tu-95 and four Tu-22M bombers – both capable of firing cruise missiles – had been destroyed on the runway. Other aircraft at the base appeared unscathed."

“We discussed the attack on Russia’s docked airplanes, by Ukraine,

and also various other attacks

that have been taking place by both sides,”

Trump said.

(Trying to downplay?

The first hitting of a nuclear powers triad?

During war time?

He might as well had just said:

"Just keep spending

nothing to see here folks.")

“It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace.

President Putin did say,

and very strongly

that he will have to respond

to the recent attack on the airfields.”

Trump told Putin

that Ukraine did not inform him

before the drone attacks

a Kremlin spokesperson said."

Do you honestly believe

Putin thinks that:

"Ukraine did not inform him

(Trump)

before the drone attacks,"

???????????

Cause what you or I think

doesn't really matter.

What really matters is,

does Putin believe that?

If you were Putin?

Would you believe it?

Cause I sure wouldn't.)

"Before the Istanbul talks, Russia stepped up its aerial attacks on cities, and pushed further into Ukraine’s northern region of Sumy, seizing more than 150 sq km (58 sq miles) of the area in less than two weeks, according to Russian claims and Ukrainian open-source mapping."

(The drone attack

hasn't really significantly changed anything

Except

what the response

is gonna be this time.

"President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields."

 "Zelenskyy has been challenging

his Russian counterpart

to meet him face to face for some months..."

"What shall we talk about?”

Putin asked

in his video call with his officials."

The Russians had a security council meeting

Sunday after the drone attack.

I think its pretty safe to assume:

THEY HAVE ALREADY DECIDED

UPON A COURSE OF ACTION.

The article didn't say who called who,

normally in situations like this?

 That is made known publicly.

My personal belief?

Putin called Trump

as a courtesy

to let him know:

"Putin did say,

and very strongly,

that he will have to respond..."

If it wasnt going to be bad?

There would have been no reason

for the call.

Journey well friends.

Godspeed.
