Maybe

"I Khamenei is much too careful to be driven to authorize direct Iranian actions that provoke tough military responses, especially from the United States. He understands the real danger of a direct shooting war with America, and he will seek to avoid it. His instinct will be to act through proxies, to preserve deniability and to minimize real danger to the regime. His challenge will be to do enough to show that Iran is exacting a serious price for Soleimani’s killing without triggering a more direct war with the U.S. military on Iran itself.

I just don't see how that happens.
Using their proxies in the region will yield the same result
as acting themselves, so whats to loose?

All the experts are saying they don't want a shooting war with us.
I'm wouldn't be so sure about that.

Just not a very big fan or fucking with people who have nothing to loose.
It tends not to work out so good.

I should be on a talk show or something.
