How many widows

did god save

of his own chosen people

back in the day?

Luke 4:26

The Rejection at Nazareth

“Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown. But I tell you truthfully that there were many widows in Israel in the time of Elijah, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and great famine swept over all the land. Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to the widow of Zarephath in Sidon. And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. Yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”…

There is a reason Christ brought up those verses when he announced who he was in his hometown.

Luke 4:14-30

It's the very same reason you dont hear anything about those verses today:

People had forgotten who God is

and how he works.

You might as well say:

"DITTO"

for us right now.
