Alright

just gonna dive in and go with it...

Actual conversation, Paraphrased over the course of several days.

"Do you know what the difference between fashion and style is?"

"Fashion is what they sell and style is what you buy and how you put it all together."

Close enough to what was said anyway :-).

And I know they know who it was that said it :-).

I also know where they found that particular response to that particular question :-).

Yeah...so dont kid your self :-).

(Thats the part where I just laugh for people thinking I dont know :-).

But that's not the point,

what followed after that, is the point.

"The real question is

do you know what a woman is?"

Didn't exactly understand where that was coming from at first as we were talking about style/fashion just a few minutes before it was asked but after some others started chipping in with their two cents?

"The real question is do you know what a woman is?"

made a lot more sense.

(And yes I do BTW :-).

Later on that night it occurred to me:

"Do you know what a woman is?"

Isn't the question for our time rn.

The real question for our time right now is:

"Do you understand

what is going on in your world right now

and why

"Do you know what a woman is?"

Wasn't a question

many were asking

just a short lil while ago?

Thats the question you should be asking yourself."

So later on when I saw my friend

I asked them that very thing that was just stated right above.

"It's just a fad."

Well it just happens to be intertwined with a bunch of other things that are going on right now that are all entangled with each other.

So ask your self:

Was Covid a fad?

Is inflation a fad?

Is AI's ascendency right now a fad?

Is climate change and the worlds rivers drying up a fad?

Are rising temperatures a fad?

Are rising energy prices a fad?

(IEA is saying that there will be a 2 million barrel a day

shortfall of oil in the second half of this year BTW.)

Are rising food prices a fad?

Is the devaluing of our currency a fad?

Is the decoupling from the dollar that is happening internationally right now, a fad?

Is the labor shortage a fad?

Is the US loosing naval supremacy in the pacific a fad?

And I saved it for last:

IS:

"Do you know what a woman is?"

a fad?

You have to see the totality of what is going on right in front of you.

I told my another friend of mine yesterday:

"People shouldn't

let their minds

trick them

into believing

what they want to believe."

(And what most people

want to believe is:

It cant be.

Not here.

Not now.

Not me.

Not us.

Not this generation.

Not this.

It cant be coming true.

It cant be that an ancient Holy text explains it all.

Etc. etc. etc.

All I can say is all of the myriad of crisis we face are all intertwined for a purpose. It's not an accident no matter what your mind wants you to believe.

Matthew 24:21

For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again.

(and that's the second half of the last of Daniels "7's". We haven't even entered into the first half of that yet, let alone the second half.)

What people want to believe is:

Everything is going to turn out all hunky-dory just out of the blue. Everything we have been ignoring for decades is suddenly

for unknown reasons

with unknown causes

going to fix itself.

THEN

we will get to the part about:

"there will be great tribulation,

unmatched from the beginning of the world

until now,

and never to be seen again."

It flies in the face of what you see unfolding right in front of your very eyes right now.

Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world,

but be transformed

by the renewing of your mind.

Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Do not fall for what you want to believe.

It's a trap with eternal consequences.
