Well no kidding.

Situation at front reaches stalemate,

hopes for Russian exhaustion

turns out to be mistake

– Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief

Really?

Who would have ever thunk of such a thing?

I wonder.
(Sarcasm BTW)

Let me put it in plain terms

so that everybody can understand

exactly just how preposterous

 it was to assume

that Ukraine

would ever have a chance in this conflict.

So here's the plan:

Were gonna take a bunch of wheat farmers

from one of the most corrupt countries on earth

and were gonna send them

a hodge-podge

of collective armaments

from around the world

all needing different training and maintenance

and they are gonna win

a land based war

in eastern Europe

against the Russians,

something that neither

Hilter nor Napoleon

managed to pull off.

And their commander in chief?

Is a standup comic.

Sounds like a formula for success to you?

This is the dog they sold you.

They never, ever had a chance.

Putin said before he invaded:

"Lets sit down

and talk about

a new security architecture

for Europe."

And we didn't take him seriously.

We should have.

What were the sins of your sister Sodom again?

Ezekiel 16:49-50

“‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom:

She and her daughters were

arrogant,

overfed

and unconcerned;

they did not help the poor and needy.

They were haughty

and did detestable things before me

Therefore I did away with them

as you have seen."

(They are listed in order for a reason BTW.

One kinda leads to the next.

Remind you of anybody?

Any particular country right now?

With all the bible thumping

red meat reactionaries

in the House of Representatives?

You would have thought somebody

would have remembered.

Or?

Are they just like that

for their own political gain?

If that thought has never occurred to you?

Why not?

"In the abundance of water

the fool is a thirsty"

I remember hearing once or twice.

"Quote: "Just like in the First World War,

we have reached the level of technology

that puts us into a stalemate…

There will most likely be no deep and beautiful breakthrough."

(Bullshit.

Putin can take out Kiev

whenever he wants.)

"It also undermined General Zaluzhnyi's assumption

that he could stop Russia by bleeding its troops."

"That was my mistake.

Russia has lost at least 150,000 dead."

(So far exaggerated as to be laughable.

The rest of the world outside of the 40 countries that support Ukraine

have known all along exactly how this has been going

and its not what we have been force fed here in the west.

"Outlasting the Russians"

Sounds like something

only a stand up comic

could come up with.)

Not only did I wake up one day

and everybody had forgot:

Apparently?

Everybody had forgot
their history too.

Young people?

This right here

what we are going through

right now?

is why History matters.

"Don't forget your history

Know your destiny

In the abundance of water

The fool is thirsty"

I wonder who might have said that?

:-).
