Interpreters Bible exposition Genesis 6:4b

"...To complain that there are no commanding leaders is a convenient excuse for not arousing oneself to any positive allegiance. But it is a poor self-deception. Seldom in any generation have the majority of the people acknowledged the greatness of the great. Martin Luther was treated with contempt by most of those who might have seen his immense significance; so were John Wesley, and Lord Shaftesbury, and Wilberforce. Washington was vilified, so was Lincoln, so was Franklin Roosevelt. It is easier and more comfortable to build the tombs of dead prophets than to recognize the challenging authority of present greatness."

Keep telling ya, it isn't my/our greatness, better recognize.
